Thanks

Good Sunday morning all!  A beauty with the Bed Of Roses folder today.  Have I said that I absolutely love this folder, well I do!  Both sides look great and it lends itself to so many techniques too.  I started my card by cutting an aperture using the largest die in the Times Square die set in the centre of a piece of coconut white card.  Emboss it with the Bed Of Roses embossing folder.  Emboss a piece of peach card with the same folder to use in the background of the aperture.  Cut another aperture with the largest die from the Herald square set and place that on the inside of the white embossed piece so the edge shows inside of the square aperture.  Add mounting foam to the back and cut four New York corners to glue to the inside edge of the corners.  Place piece over the peach embossed piece.  Stamp your sentiment on peach card and cut a frame from the Madison Square set to fit over it.  Mount in the centre of the aperture.  Add pearls to the corners and the sentiment tag.  Finish the card with a white pierced mat, a thin peach mat and a final white mat.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.

Now for the winners of the Comment Game.  This week's winners are:

Tracy W!!!
Josie B!!!
Rosiejt!!!

For the extra qualifying post of Mon. Feb. 16th, the winners are:

Another gorgeous card Sue. I am really enjoyed the shows on Saturday and looking forward to Sunday's shows. It is great seeing you demo and always learn something new. Stick pins and beads is a dream come true. I am one of your followers who asked you about this and obviously there were lots more. The collection looks just awesome. Hoping you will be doing some shows on C&C USA. I live in Canada and that way I could double my fun seeing you from both sides of the pond.

Good morning Sue
Your New York dies are such a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them. I love the Rose embossing folder and its on my huge list. It seems I'm not the only one that's pleased that you've brought out your own line of stick pins, you definitely listen to our requests. I was so looking forward to your shows yesterday but I had unexpected visitors and unfortunately couldn't watch you I could only record. I'm intrigued to see the 'grouting technique' it sounds fun. I love what you've done with today's card the peach card is so pretty.

Morning Sue
One more wonderful gift for my 'must do' folder. I'm having to create another folder Sue for all your fantastic pieces of art and today's gift is definitely one going into it. Today's star of the show is your beautiful new Eboss folder. Those roses look so amazing. I watched your first show yesterday (the others not yet as they are recorded) when you used this folder to demo the new technique with the grouting and what a glorious finish you had definitely making a must have. Good luck for today - though I know you really will not need it. Today's programmes are set to record.

Steph - hoping you have many buyers today. Keep well wrapped up as it's very cold here.

I hope everyone has visited Sue on Bloglovin. It's really fantastic to see all Sue's gifts at any one time and not have to trawl through back issues. Go on give it a go - it's easy.

Off now for my first cup of coffee of the day. To all in pain or suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe.
See you tomorrow.

I can't wait to try to make some of your wonderful cards. And so excited about the hat pin collection. You are really good to us all taking so much time to source it. I loved all your shows and was laughing so much in your show with Nigel and all the accent thing. I get a lot of stick when I go home about my accent, but I think it is the way I say my 'a's' now, plus the real blank look when I am chatting away and I realise I have used a totally English word that they haven't a clue what I am on about! Have more great shows today Sue. Am tuning in for all of them. You are really wonderful. Hope today is another sell out weekend for you. Congrats to all today. Have a great day!

Hello Sue,

Fell in love with all the new embossing folders yesterday and especially this one as it looked absolutely wonderful when grouted!...must try that technique...love the inset square on today's card - a frame doesn't always have to be raised does it...

Congrats to today's winners...

LANCS STEPH, FLUFFYCAT FRANCES, MYRA, ANGELA WADE, P in WALES and SANDY G...ladies, thank you for your sweet comments re my gift handbags, hand on heart, these were the first bags I've ever made and were inspired by the design illustrations that come with each die - I saw the "fade-out" at the top of each illustration and immediately thought handbag!...and since each die gives you the width of the front the rest was done to fit in with that size...I had so much fun doing them - and all inspired by Sue's wonderful dies...and as we all know a good die does all the work!...lol...if anyone would like more details please let me know, they're much easier to do than you might think...

Good Morning Sue & Friends,
Your shows were brilliant yesterday, amazing products, love those stick pins, I know they have been a long time coming too, we had chat a year or so a go but as you said yesterday it's getting the quality and price right, I have spent many an hour searching for the perfect beads, but to get the right size, shape a more importantly the drill hole going the right way! So although it looks expensive there has been a lot of work gone Into that set! Thank you Sue, today's card is fabulous, the best place to view Sue' Blog is to log into Bloglovin.com (Sue has a link at the bottom of post)
If you click on that sign up or into Bloglovin you can press 'FOLLOW' and that will (a) boost Sue's ratings and (b) you will get to see all of Sues cards on one page, which is brilliant source of inspiration, no more clicking back through to find that one special post that really caught your eye! Please give it a try it's amazing, there are so many other blogs on there too! Another fab way of getting more followers for Sue is to press the 'SHARE' button on the Bloglovin posts, this will give you opportunity to share the blog on the other big platforms ( Facebook, Twitter & pinterest), if you share Sue's blog on any of those she will possibly get thousands more views! I would love to see Sue get the recognition she deserves to be up there at No.1 blog!
Also the more followers the quicker you can get your chance to get your hands on those amazing blog CANDY! My goodness I won one of these many years ago on Sue's blog ans even back then it was such a massive boost to your crafting stash, the box just kept on giving, it was all current top quality products too!
Izzy, izzy, izzy, your handbags, butterfly designs were totally mind blowing, I couldn't believe how fabulous they looked. Congratulations to the winners too today, especially our 'littlelamb', just the boost you need!
Steph, good luck today, my lovely, come home with empty baskets! Your usual order will be waiting! Lol

Hi Sue,
Another beautiful card, I can see that I really NEED that embossing folder. Love the colour combo, and of course the small die - the smallest ones of the NY dies are so beautiful, all of them.
Now I hope Izzy sees this, ie my comment about how very talented she is - those purses on the shows were something else, and no mistake. Does she have a template for them, I wonder. Anyway Izy, my hat off to you!
Looking forward to the shows today, yesterday's were a blast.
Thanks for all your work, Sue, in bringing us such goodies (not least the stick pin embellishments and beads), preparing such lovely sample cards and doing the shows, too.
Hugs, Rose

Hi Sue
What a lovely card today. I actually have these dies as well. I haven't watched your shows yet as they have been recorded. But will do so later. Looks like the stick pins and the paste were a huge hit. I must see Izzy's bags and butterflies to. Congratulations to Littlelamb and all the other card comment winners. Please follow Sue on Bloglovin, it's so easy even I managed to do it. This can be done from this blog, but I didn't know that when I tried. Hope you can manage to do more demos today Sue. Wish C and C would let you do more demos rather than the hard sell. It's so off putting. That's why I record all CE shows, I can zip though the hard sell buts.

Good morning Sue.
What a lovely card you have made with your new Bed of Roses EB. The Paper Grouting technique you dreamt up and demonstrated on yesterday's shows was amazing and the result fabulous. I don't know if it's somthing you eat before you go to bed Sue, but I wish I could wake up with ideas like that !!!
Loving the shows, Stick Pins are just beautiful, I am one of your followers who has begged for these and am thrilled you have done them for us. Sadly I can't afford them at the moment, too many dies I need first. Will you be doing smaller packs of them in the future?

IZZY your handbags are fabulous, I had a real jaw dropping moment when I saw them. You must be over the moon that Sue had them on her shows. I once had an email read out and was giddy, so I can't imagine
what you are like. Please let us know how we can be in touch and see more, are you perhaps on Pinterest?

Congratulations to all the lucky winners, but especially Littlelamb, don't go waving that pot about too much!

Hi Sue,
Would have loved to buy something from the shows but sadly I had to chose between them and a much needed new printer...and the printer won :(.
I love the embossing used on this card. I was recently lucky enough to acquire a new die cutting machine that is fantastic with embossing folders so I'm going to have a lot of fun in the near future :). As always, thanks so much for sharing with us and well done on the shows. x

Hi Sue

A lovely card and a brilliant technique for embossing folders. I recorded all yesterday's shows but did see the paper grouting. Mr W found the name of this technique very amusing being a tradesman and I now need some texture paste! I have acrylic texture additive for painting but I don't dare try that with my EF's! I can wait a couple of week though as will have some new dies and pretty glitter to play with soon ;-) I saw the 11am show, lovlolved watching the ribbon flower and will give it a try. I may even try do one without tape to embellish a sewing project. I must get ready and have everything set up to watch you at 3pm on the laptop in my craft half a room. Delighted your stick pins are such a hit and I was blown away by izzys yandbag and butterfly. I have that die and will be trying it as I yave so many butterfly related stamps and cardstock! In between shows I'd be getting that pizza order in!

Congratulations to the winners, I've been a very lucky winner in the past and the stamps are amazing :-)

Steph, hope the sale went well x

Good afternoon Sue and the fabulous Wilsonettes,
This card i think would be great for our friends that are sparkle and bow shy Sue as it is more on your plain and simple lines that sometimes we need but it in a more neutral colour or blue or grey/silver could be for our budding male gardeners that i am sure would appreciate the roses back ground. I hope that you are having a good day again today at C&C and what crackers you have brought with you especially those handbags, thank you to Issy that designed them as they look fantastic and just right for our handbag diva's that i am sure we all have one of them around, mines is called Kirsten. ;)
Well done to all this weeks winners, have a great time playing when your surprise arrives.
I am having a spot of the hippy hippy shakes in the hand department today which when trying to get a pin into the top of the glue bottle that has decided to seal on me, i have had more stabs with a needle today that i have had in my life i think. Have given up on the drop pearls as they are turning out more like teardrop shaped instead of pearl shaped although i now have two cards made today which is going to turn out to be a world record for me i think.
Jean, you enjoy every minute of your time with your new grand daughter, but remember you need to share her cuddles out.
Any way shakin Norah here is going to try and get a drink without it 'shakin all over' as in the song. Leaving my basket full of hugs of all different strengths and sizes to suit all my dear friends who need one.
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

Hi Sue,
Well, where to start! Today's card I think as that is why I checked in after all! It is beautiful and I am not a peach person but I am coming round to using it in craft!
I haven't seen this morning's show yet as I was out but the 2pm show was great! I emailed again - so long as you know we are there that's all that matters!
Izzy - you are so welcome! Your bags are gorgeous! I actually asked Sue if you'd thought of making them in leather! I'd be top of the list to buy one. Would love to know how to make one ! I thought your price tag was very reasonable lol! After all it's an original!
Steph - hope you sell out today! Hope too you are not too cold as we've had snow showers here in Lancs.
I too succumbed to the stick pins! Will need maybe to be like Izzy and think of other ways to use them because the colours are just gorgeous!
Congratulations to Littlelamb and the other winners today.
I've forgotten who asked if you could post stick pins - answer is yes! Lynda on this blog posted some lovely stick pins to me the other day. No problem. They were a lovely surprise.
Jean - enjoy meeting your new granddaughter! How lovely.
Love to all,
Myra xxx

Hi All

Wasn't it a great weekend with Sue!

I am hoping that the person who emailed in to C&C about breaking her Grand Calliber reads this. I broke mine a few weeks ago and after searching for new parts came across a blog that said that Spellbinders is great about their warranty. So I rang them and after being kindly told off for opening it up as it was under warranty, they fast tracked some spare parts to me for me to fix my Grand Calliber. I have one of the original die cutting machines of this kind called a Zippy Mate that I never bothered to get rid of so got to still keep using Sue's great dies. I have also been informed that Creative Expressions has some spare parts. It is quite easy to take apart. Just keep track of where the parts come from. Good Luck.
