Hi Sue, gorgeous eye catching card today, really zings. Lol lynne m x x x

Hubby and fur babies asleep after a bad night of pain for hubby, so I'm going to catch up on my sleep too. Poochies have decided that the small green outside our house is their own personal racetrack. They tear around it like greyhounds chasing a hare and woe betide anyone who dares to cross it as they are running because if my poochies could talk there would be a few choice swear words used I'm sure. As it is the looks poochies give the trespassers could curdle milk!!!!. When they have had enough of racing they run to our front door sit down and dip their heads. Its as if the little princesses are giving permission for people to now walk over the green. I think they are taking the idea of being princesses a little bit to heart. I however, refuse to see them as princesses because I know what mischief and mayhem the b's get up to on a daily basis. They are very crafty though as because hubby is home they are not acting up in front of him oooh they are soooo sneaky.

Lol and hugs to all lynne m & dastardly devious doggie divas x x x

Hello Sue, absolutely love this card, the colours are gorgeous, and the frame is so intricate. Scrunched flower are really my favourite as they are so reflective of real flowers. Have a great day. Bx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes. Smashing start to the day, a card that sing's and a great tutorial. There are a few of these dies I dont own but I know I can use what I have to do something similar as if I tried to copy (which I wouldn't) it would look nothing like lol !
I just love using my dainty lace looking Scandinavian border to add round colour co-ordinating card it looks soooo pretty, its a set of dies I go to often.
Did you realise the pattern matches up when you first designed this set or something that just 'happened' whilst playing ? I hear the scream's of pain each time you get those scissors to your dies, but WOW, what an end result.
Thank you for sharing this regal looking card with us today.
Whatever your plans, have a lovely day Sue.
Lynn, so great to read your in top form again, your 'funny tails' have been greatly missed - no pun intended and not mis spelt lol.
To our poorly friends may each day find you feeling a little fitter.
Its so nice to see the odd new name, hope you will stay to help Sue's blog number's rise again ready for next year's Craft Awards.
Sending friendly comforting hugs to those that need one. Cam - thinking of you and missing you, same goes to any missing Wilsonettes.
Hugs all round.

Good morning Sue. I was thrilled to see this card, as it is another chance for me to try one of your designs with my Union Square dies. The flower is lovely. I have the Camellia open petals, but the closed petal set is proving very difficult to get hold of. You have shown too many beautiful uses for it on your blog Sue, so everyone has bought it!! It just shows how good your dies are, as well as how well they are used and shown in your demos, blog etc.
I shall keep searching and look forward to trying this lovely new flower.
Have a lovely day Sue.

Morning Sue. Fabulous card. It is slightly similar to one you did several years ago, and I think it still appears in the top right hand corner of your intro to your videos. morning Sue
Today's gift has certainly woke me up this very damp and wet morning here. As Pam says 'Bold but Beautiful' and it certainly shouts 'here look at me. Am I not Gorgeous!' and it certainly is.
Your Square dies are so easy to use and now you show us how your borders also make fantastic squares. I am once more in your debt as you have just planted the very seed I need for my next Knit and Natter demo.

Alimecca - so pleased you enjoyed your visit to the theatre. I would love to see them live.
Norah - You made me smile about turning into your Mum. I always said that I would never say or do that .......when I had children but oh it changes doesn't it? I easily found myself doing and saying the exact same things and I have the added 'bonus' of looking so much like her as well and so my two lovlies tease me now by calling me Nan.

Hoping to get a little crafting done today but first I have to drive Mr E for his INR check this morning. I'm hoping that by the week-end he will be back to driving as I'm not comfortable these days but 'needs must....'.

To all in pain or suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Alimecca. I am so envious I loved that pair in strictly, the Argentine Tango is the very best you will ever see, it must have been just amazing seeing them live, did it inspire you ? Xxxx
Janet do you not just knit and natter at your 'knot & natter group? Mind you Pat goes to Calligraphy and hasn't done calligraphy, so I guess anything goes, the important thing with these groups is that you are getting out ans socializing with other creative people, if you can all bring something new to the group it all becomes a much more interesting place! I hope all goes well with Mr E & his INR so that you can get flack to bring a little mire relaxed, hugs xxxxx

Good afternoon Sue and the wonderful wilsonettes,
Lovely card Sue but i am glad that you have added that touch of black stops my paranoia kicking in gear. I favourite dies are firstly the Spanish collect with the California and New York running neck and neck but my favourite of all time border has to be the French and the French background as they are just so stylish. I think my first port of call for your new sets will have to be the Noble as i love making shaped cards but big ones and these lovely dies would allow me that penchant. Although red is my favourite go to colour to wear, not into it with white but i can let my imagination go into overdrive at the differing combinations. Thank you Sue for another WOW and inspiring us like you do.
Hey Lynne, has no one ever told your little diva's that they are not greyhounds or whippets by any stretch of the imagination but hey they have to have their dreams of greatness as well and winning at the greyhound track might be one of their dreams. I would hate to cross their path when they are in mid flow as you would probably get knocked off your feet and i can do that all by myself without any help thank you very much. Hey just because they are doggies doesn't mean that they can't be sneaky and give the "WHo me," look as well. Tia has found out that if she takes one of her babies outside for a wander round and brings them back in with her without being told, she goes and sits down at the cookie jar waiting to be rewarded for being good and bringing baby back in and she has got it down to a fine art now. Kirsten came in yesterday when i was out and she got the hang dog look as if to say "my mummy went out and forgot to give me a biscuit" so of course madam feels sorry for her and gives her one of the big ones that she knows she only gets once a week on a Saturday. Tackles me about the dog not getting her treat before i went out, where i let her know that the big sod has had all she was getting for the day, bisom that she is.
June, many congratulations on your RUBY wedding anniversary, i hope that you are having a lovely day for it. You know you could have got out the jail quicker( hee hee) sorry;) I hope you have a lovely time flower you and your groom of the past 40 years. Wishing you every happiness for the years to come.
Well Janet my mum was lucky in that i only sound like her which confuses people on the phone especially now since she has gone and they get me. No i take after my daddy's side(namely being fatter and definitely not streamlined like mum was) more cuddlier and boy is there plenty to hang onto to cuddle. Take the car easy flower but you never lose the knack of driving it is just the other idiots that seem to have a death wish that sometimes terrify you into surrendering to just letting the other half do all the driving. I hope that Jim behaved himself today so that he can get back his freedom at the weekend?
Good for you Cheryl, not much wrong with turning into Nanny Mabel and to live to such a great age is fantastic. Now that's your target to beat 99. :)
Sam you are going to get knocked of the swimming team even thinking of using that sweary word which i'm not going to say but we all know what you were thinking about. Hope you are feeling better today flower after your ordeal last week.
Well no 1 son has just come in from school so i am going to feed him as he doesn't eat much at school and since he wont eat a breakfast either i don't like him being so hungry.
Sending Hugs of all shapes and sizes out there to all my angels both on and off blog at the moment but never far away from my thoughts and prayers,
Love and crafty hugs

Hi Sue
good afternoon. I love this card. I made something similar using purple, white and silver holographic. It was for my friend as her mum had passed away but loved colours.
The card went down so well. I didn't use the corner, just the border. I love the shade of red you have used.
I love this new York collection. I actually think it's my favourite.
Lots of love
Jo xx

Hi Sue, a beautiful card and great video. I like the way your corners and borders match to make a lovely square and I love the camellia turned carnation, the botanists would be jealous lol. I still have a box full of assorted flowers I made using this method and an old spellbinder die; I enjoyed making them so much I got carried away and nearly forgot to stop. Some years later they are still looking good and I do use them occasionally but only on hand delivered cards.

June, Congratulations to you and your husband on your ruby wedding anniversary, I hope you are both having a lovely day.

Good evening Sue, and all the ladies.
This is so pretty, and I like how your video has shown how to make a lacy square surround out of a border and corners. Very clever.
Lynne M - your fur babies are so clever aren't they, sweetness and light for your husband and little devils for you!!
June - congratulations to you and your husband.
Norah - I'm not turninng into my mother - I have turned, oh no!!!
Had a very busy day with the granddaughters, tired now so going to have an easy evening.

Hi Sue,
A very striking card today which really showcases the dies. Lovely! I don't use red often enough, except at Christmas. I haven't watched the video as yet as have been out all day. Will watch it later.
Alison - so pleased you had a great time.
June - Congratulations on your 40th Wedding Anniversary . Congratulations to your husband too. Hope you have a lovely day.
I, too, turned into my Mum - scariest bit was when I went for a new pair of shoes - tried a pair on and looked at my feet and thought - my feet now look like my Mum's . Lol.
Love to all,
Myra xx

Hi Sue

I will watch a bit later, wanted to comment before I doze off! I love the lacy style of these dies, on my neeed list for certain as they are so versatile and pretty. Warned Mr W I will be trying to fit Saturdays' eye test we both need around the shows. Sky box already set!

June, congratulations on your 40th wedding anniversary- have a lovely day celebrating xxx

Saba, thank you for your kind message, a little better today but pretty tired! Another early night is needed, had my two nephews pop in this afternoon, they are 12 and 19. I used to babysit both of them when they were tiny. Billy was entertaining them quite happily and the youngest has worn him out totally, good thing too as I'm propped up half asleep hoping to stay awake for sewing bee. Glad I set the sky box though as I do wonder whether I'll be asleep soon as this is posted.

Hugs to Wilsonettes everywhere, special hugs to those ill, in any sort of pain, in treatment or recovery. Stay warm and safe,

T x

Hello Sue,

Knockout colour scheme, perfect to showcase the New Yorkers and thanks for the reminder how to make scrunched-up flowers, they're so realistic, I must make them more often...

Just Sue thought you should know that I just got an email from oyster crafts about their new releases and one of them is an embossing folder from a company called Ecstasy Crafts who are a Canadian company and they have an embossing folder called Delicate Hearts which is an EXACT copy of your lovely Heart Lattice design. Absolutely disgraceful trying to rip off other people's designs, did they not think anyone would notice with all the many fans you have. Mandy McT xxxxx

Stunning card, so dramatic. Red and white are not my usual colour choice (or black for that matter) but on this card they work so well. That lovely flower with the tinge of red on the edges is fabulous.

Congratulations June and husband on your Ruby Wedding. Hope you had a fabulous day.

Take care everyone.
