Triple Thank You

Morning all!  A really simple, quick card for today's post.  I stamped the Violet label from Justrite stamps three times on to milk coloured card.  I used a black archival ink pad to stamp, cut it out with the matching Antique Labels and Banner die and ink them with Antique Linen while still in the die.  I used an Antique linen distress marker to add a bit of colour to the flowers and leaves.  I stamped the tiny thank you into each of them in the oval area.  It is nice that it is left blank on the stamp so you can easily personalise it for whatever your needs.  I added some 3mm black gems to the centres of each of the flowers on the labels.  I used some Graphic 45 papers to create the background, keeping the colours neutral and on the vintage side to go with the look that I wanted.  I added a strip of black seam binding between the two papers and added a messy bow at the bottom topped with a fancy button and stick pin accents.  For a bit of bling, I added a black rhinestone swirl to the side of the card and pierced the edges to finish it off.  There is nothing tricky to this one, a simple card with a repetitive theme to it, but I just love the nice vintage feel to it.  Finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

GM Sue - like Lacelady above, I am also not keen on those labels shapes - I know I've said this before but they have not grown on me with time and I don't covet them.

I do love the design of this card though and it could easily be adapted with other shapes - rather than having the same message repeated 3 times I am thinking each element could have one word - e.g. for Valentines I----Love----You or Get---Well----Soon. I shall have a go at this. Thanks

Morning Sue
Thank you for a beautiful card to start the day. I too love the kraft card in all its forms. It lends itself to any generation and any gender. I really must buy the stamps - I tried yesterday wherever I tried although the supplier said would post to europe and gave the cost of postage when I got to the check out it threw a message 'cannot post to your destination' - whatever happened to one common market?
