Hi blog friends! I smile every time I look at this card because it was a joint effort between Sam Poole and myself last summer. Bless her, I was a bit behind schedule getting my samples made and Sam pitched in to lend me a hand. The stamp used here was designed by Sam in her Timeless Jopuney stamp set so who better to use it in a lovely card design. Truth be told, she did far more than I did, but I have never posted it on my blog and I really like the finished card. Sam was responsible for the stamping the Parisian bicycle on Labels 18. She inked it while in the die with some Antique Linen distress ink. The die cut background with the dictionary page showing through the Fleur De Lis square negative piece was her idea too. I love her layout for this one. I added the wild assortment of buttons in neutral colours on the side and the ruching of the American seam binding, the small bow and the crystal pins. This is one of those cards that doesn't have a sentiment stamped on it and could be used for pretty much anything you like or even any recipient. If your taste runs to the vintage look cards, this should be right up your alley and it is quick and easy too! All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue,
Fab card, you both are very talented. I love the check paper. I have been looking for some similar paper , not found it yet.
Lots of love. Jenny L
Hi Sue, what a great team effort, you two are obviously on the same wavelength. Love the negative die cut over the old papers and the houndstooth check just brings the card alive.
Frances
Hi Sue, Love this card, especially the tumbling buttons. Crafting in pairs could be a great way of getting out of a crafting rut & expanding my repertoire. Usually if I craft with someone I craft alongside them. Will have to give this a go. With Love & Light Theresa. H
What a good team you make. I love Sams stamps and the way you have used the Fleur De Lis negative.
Carolat Henlow
Morning Sue, another fab card. love the use of the dictioary again. Love the background paper too. Such a lovely card and as you suggest suitable for anyone xxhazel
Lovely card, I have been asked to make one for a cycling enthusiast but I do not have this stamp or it would have been perfect! Keep up the good work. x
Hi Sue
Not commented for a couple of days,
just checked out your posts and as usual great cards, love the negative idea.
Jean
A great team effort, what a result! Definitely two minds that think alike. Would love to do this one as I want to try some ruching. Can I add something? I've already borrowed the dictionary idea from you but while looking at this card I suddenly thought of my out of date map in the car. Better to buy a new one first (!) but it would make great backgrounds torn & inked - it's already quite distressed! Sue x
Hi Sue....what a perfect card I love that seam binding rushed up like that......the image is great for men i recon......hope you have a good weekend we have thick snow here again so a day in my craft room!!! take care Margaret

Hi Sue, Fantastic card, love the bicycle stamp, buttons, ribbon well all of it !!!! LOVE IT, Hugs May x x x x
Marvellous card. Love the stamp.
Love this! My son only uses pedal power so I'm always interested in 'bike' designs. Even with the ruffled seam binding it still looks quite manly though if I were to make it for him I'd probably leave that off - the hounds-tooth backing is fab too.
Good team work, iv never used buttons ,must give them a go.Elaine H x.
Oh another stunner Sue, I love this new look you are producing :) lainey x

A brilliant collaberation(?)! Very vintage, but smart at the same time.
Hi Sue
just a wonderful creation again. Brill team effort hope u signed her up for a contract? LOL. I see the hound tooth pattern crept in. Love it. Black and white always good to have. Would not bother me if i just made black and white cards for ever. Be easier to arrange my stash. a bit of cream gold and brown might creep in . Second favorite.
All i can say is i;m on my bike to the craft room. Bye

Hi Sue, I hope you and all the blog friends are having a good weekend.
Todays card is another stunner and I think you and Sam, compliment each other perfectly.
Did you know that the 'Pushbike Song' - ('Riding along on my pushbike honey, when I noticed you....
You looked so pretty as you were singing this so.o.ong..')
was written by The Mixtures. As I was singing it, I thought it quite apt really, as your card was made by a mixture of talents. Lame? well it may be but I thought it good analogy at the time :(
I would love to see more cards where you have collaborated with another crafter.
I hope you are well and planning some wonderful demos for your shows later this month.
Best wishes and hugs Linda x
The die cut background with the dictionary page showing through the Fleur De Lis square negative piece is very nice + I like your arrangement of buttons.
Love Pearl x
Fantastic team effort. I have the fleur de lis square and it's a great idea to use the 'waste'. Will try it!!
I have the Fleur De Lis die and am not too keen on it but you have made me see it in a new light! The background dictionary paper is a fabulous idea. Love Sams stamps and want the new ones. You two have a similar stamping style and compliment each other.
A lovely card... love this stamp and the way the buttons trickle down the side x
Hi Sue, this is gorgeous, I love the colours and the layout. Im loving the use of lots of smaller buttons, Ive always wondered what to do with all my diddy buttons, they dont really cut it when mounted on a giant bow, but now I have lots of ideas, thank you for the inspiration Helen O xxx
really like this card, well done both of you
Your card was a great team effort and turned out very nicely.
And what a team! Have a few of Sam's stamps and with the addition of your inspiration it couldn't help but be a great card. Hubby's upcoming birthday card problem solved if I swap the ribbon for twine, I think.
Lovely card. Great team effort :)
