You Are The Best
Hello bloggers! For today's card, I selected a piece of black card to use as the background. I cut two of the scalloped borders in white from the Coronet Lace border die set and glued them to the edges of the background. Next I cut the Elegant Florals die in white with two pieces of white card. I used the bottom piece as the one I coloured. I used pink, orange and yellow for the flowers and green for the leaves. I added some highlights with a white pencil. Next, I glued the fully cut die on top so the coloured flowers showed through and added it to the middle of the card with mounting foam. I cut the You Are The Best sentiment in black and glued it to the top of the focal element. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 7 1/2" in size. Good Monday morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh my goodness, what a beautiful creation today, it is not very often I see a black card like this, it works perfectly, love the cutting og of the dies and colouring behind one piece then added the other on top, I know you did with recently with the double design facing each other, which I have done but not mounted onto my card yet. Will certainly going to be making this creation, thank your for sharing.

Fab card- love the use of the black makes it quite dramatic but works so well with the floral frame 😊
