Missing You

Hi bloggers!  I have a super easy card for today's blog post.  I started with a piece of white watercolour card.  I used Cerulean Blue, Turquoise Cascade and Purple Twilight Pearlescent Watercolour inks to create this background.  I used the applicators in the bottles and dripped the colours randomly across the card.  I misted them with water and used a paintbrush to move the colours around, then set it aside to dry thoroughly.  Next I cut the Noble Missing You in black and added it to a white shadow backing piece.  I added the sentiment with mounting foam to the top of the card.  I cut two of the Splendid Swirls cut in white and added them to the bottom of the sentiment as accents.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8"  in size.  All for now,  Sue x

Hi Sue.
If my card making ever takes off again these new noble expression dies are going to be invaluable for both CAS cards and those that request something extra special, they really are lovely.
Have a nice day everyone xx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh we like quick and easy cards, and yes these can easily be matched into batch cards to sell at craft fair's or for children to take to school for their teachers. I like this one. Great idea xx

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue
Happy Saturday everyone x
It may be a ‘super easy’ card but it is gorgeous. The colours are stunning and I absolutely love the splendid swirls. The Noble sentiments really are striking focal points for any cards. I just wish my ‘random’ backgrounds were as fabulous as yours x
Take care one and all x
Sending you all positive thoughts x

Hi Sue. Sorry, I didn't manage to comment yesterday, but such a lovely card deserves to have something said about it. Love all the white against the blue background which reminds me of clouds in the sky.
