Birthday Wishes
Hi bloggers! I selected a piece of pixied card as my background. I made this piece by using Midnight Blue Pixie Powder on a piece of white gloss card. I spritzed the powder with water then covered it with a scrunched up piece of cling film. I cut two of the Beaded Cornice Border in white and glued them to the pixied background. I cut the thin corner in the set in white and added them to the edges of the two borders. I cut the Birthday Wishes Block sentiment in both white and Black Gloss card. I added the white block to the centre of the card and paper pieced the Black Gloss sentiment into it. I added the entire card to a larger piece of white card where I glittered the edges with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x

Midnight blue Pixie Powder - my all time favourite. The Beaded Cornice Border is such a beautiful intricate die and is so striking against that amazing background. Love the way you have emphasised the edges with the extra detail. Stunning x
