Noel

Hello bloggers!  I started with a piece of white card and used the Cerulean Blue waterclour ink randomly across it.  I used a gold paint pen and tapped it with a ruler to get a splatter of gold across the card.  Using the Classic Poinsettia die set, I made three poinsettias of differing sizes out of white vellum.  Before assembling the flowers, I used Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish on the petals.  I attached the flowers in a cluster in the corner, then added Evergreen Branches cut out of white as accents.  I cut the Noel die out of Antique Gold card and added an offset shadow cut from gold Mirror card.  I glued the sentiment to the top of the card.  The card was completed with white and antique gold mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  X  7 1/2"  in size.  All for now,  Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a lovely card this morning, I like the watercolour inks and have a few of them, they give such a depth of colour to your project, and with the gold drops scattered around it makes a lovely backdrop.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Good Morning Sue. A lovely fresh looking modern type of Christmas card today. Personally I prefer the traditional kind ... But I know this modern type suits quite a lot of the younger generation. I love how you say tap the gold pen to make the splattered little dots. I tried it ... once ... what a mess it went all over the place except the card I was working on lol. So I gave that a miss. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
PLEASE KEEP STAYING SAFE 🙏 🙏 🙏
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds

Hi Sue. Love this card with the random splash of watercolour (it's quite hard to be random). I would usually use silver with blue but you have shown that gold works with blue just as well!

The love I have for you has become a core part of who I am, and I couldn’t be happier about anything else.
I don’t mean for this to sound shallow, but damn you’re beautiful. Genuinely, drop-dead gorgeous. I have a hard time believing you chose me every time I look at you.
Without you, I’d have no direction in life. I know this for sure because I was lost and alone before I found you.
I wished for my life to be better, and then I met you. That wish couldn’t have had a better gift for me.
