Please Let It Snow

Hi bloggers!  I used the Snowflake Flurry mask and taped it to a piece of white card.  I used the  Moonlit Silver Luna Paste and pulled it through the mask with a palette knife.  I set it aside to dry thoroughly, then added a white frame using the Double Stitched Square die set.  I added a strip of vellum across the bottom of the frame.  Using the Snow die and stamp combo set, I cut the bold Snow sentiment out of silver card and added a silver mirror card shadow behind it.  I glued it to the vellum strip.  I stamped the "please let it" sentiment and cut it out with the matching tag die and added it with foam to the top corner of the frame.  I cut the Snowflake & Swirls Background out of silver card and used the fall away snowflakes and glued them in the opposite corner.  I added small pearls randomly to the background to give the feel of falling snow.   The card was completed with white and silver mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are  7 3/4"  x  7 3/4" in size.   All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. I can only imagine how beautifully this sparkles when the light catches it. I've never tried masks, I seem to be an embossing lass or a clean fresh plain background lass, maybe it's time for this lass to feel what change feels like lol. I love watching the falling snow, I love to wake up to a blanket of snow but that's were my love of snow ends, as I'm susceptible to gangrene in my fingers and toes it's not a good idea to play snow angels lol.
Sending love to all and STAY SAFE AND KEEP CARING xxx 💖

Hi Sue and everyone, ohh my favourite type of card again. I just love Christmas cards as it gives me a free reign to make what I like.
Steph and Ann you must try masks and stencils, its so much fun.
Anyway lovely card I do like a nice shimmering bit of luna paste. A simple, great card for batch making as Pauline suggested. Have a good day everyone hugs Donna, oh and the only time I like snow is through a window when I don't have to go out. The cold causes me too much pain, give me the sun anyway xx

Very nice card. Luna pastes and almost as neat as Opal pastes. I have been looking at my little two year old grandson playing in the snow in Montana so snow has definitely been on my mind even with beautiful, warm fall weather here in SC.
Everyone stay safe and happy,
Stephanie K
