Get well Soon

Hello bloggers!  Here is a quick card idea using the Celtic Square Background.  I started by cutting the Celtic Square Background three times, once in black and twice out of coconut white card.  I off set the black one behind one of the white ones, then added an aqua card backing to it.  I used the Double Stitched Squares to make a multi-layered white on white frame.  I added foam mounting and attached it over the background.  Next I used my scissors and cut the last background down from sixteen squares to nine squares.  I turned it on a diamond orientation and added it to the centre of the frame with a piece of foam mounting just in the centre.  I used a double ended Stitched Flag die across the centre (hiding the mounting foam from below) and added the Get Well Soon sentiment in black.  The card was completed with white, aqua and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hello Sue and all
Lots of favourites today, aqua and white and love the bit of black showing on the offset. I still used my stitched flags all the time, they look great with the greeting, just a lovely card sure to make anyone feel lots better

Morning Sue. I've also been using my favourite pastel shade Aqua, stocking up for January market and in need of Christening cards so using my new Christening sentiment which looks really lovely when cut and shadowed, along with a silver cross makes a beautiful CAS for boy/girl. Today's beautiful sample could be used for many happy occasions with a change of sentiment. I'm loving the new samples Sue, the new Celtic backgrounds have the prettiest of designs, and to be perfectly honest there is no way I can second guess the new designs that are in the pipeline it's impossible as you've thrown us so many 'unusual' curve balls in the past lol. I've seen the most gorgeous cards made with Celtic dies and look forward to seeing more and more coming through via video tutorials too. Have a lovely Friday whatever your plans xxx

Hello Sue,

The Celtic dies are a really great collection. With this card you have shown how easy it is - to make a CAS card using just the background die. It is delicate and oh so pretty, especially done in aqua and white.

Have a good Friday.

Hello Sue
All done with one die amazing. I am going to finish sorting out my craft room today which is taking a long time because I keep being distracted by rediscovering your dies. Sue you often ask for our favourite when a new collection appears my all time favourite is the HAPPY die I use it all the time.

Good Morning Sue. I love this one Sue. And so thrilled as I have this die. I have made some lovely cards with this too...... but not as nice as this one on show today. I love it and with a friend's birthday just a week away I think I might be repeating it ... with a little alteration .... so it's not a complete copy. Thankyou Sue. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds
