Hi bloggers! I have a lovely white on white channel card to share with you today. I started with a piece of coconut white card and embossed it with the Heart Scrolls embossing folder. I cut it so there was just about and 1 1/2" strip and added mounting foam to both pieces to raise them. I added the two pieces to another piece of white card that had a strip of self adhesive sticky sheet laid down between the two areas. I cut the Meandering Twig border in white and peeled away the backing on the sticky strip and attached the border. I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to fill in the exposed adhesive areas. For the focal element, I cut the Flora die and attached it to the top of the card. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with a Double Stitched Octagon die. I very lightly inked the edges of the sentiment with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide. I used the small centre dies from the Passion Flower set to add two very small flowers to the tag. The card was completed with white on white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6" x 8" in size.

Hello Sue,
White on white is always a winner for me. This card is delicate yet very elegant. I like how you have used the Meandering Twig Border in the channel, very impressive.

WOW Sue, what can I say ? White on white, it has that touch of sheer luxury and elegance no other tone on tone has, and your choice of dies on this sample are a match made in heaven, every tiny little detail is magnified by the tone on tone, a stunningly beautiful start to our morning. The sentiment says it all xxx

Good morning Sue,
I love white on white cards and this one is a stunner! Loaded with detail and embossing it's very striking. X
Lovely.
You have used two of my favourite dies on this card, the meandering twig and the flora die. Lovely. Thank you Sue, have a good day.

Beautiful card, so pretty.

I guess Meandering Twig is the male version of Flora. Well Yin to her Yang. You didn't talk about it but it must have been a project to add all those pearls to the flowers. They're just exquisite.
To answer Owlish, yes, Sue has stopped the drawings to give away samples. She said it was a hardship to her colleagues who need samples to show when they go on TV or do classes. And when Sue is out of the country, it falls to others to address the envelopes and put cards in the post. She still does drawings for little surprise presents when comments exceed 100.
Update on my experiment, it didn't work. Can't see any little flowers. Maybe if I had used crystal tints instead of Oxides. Now I'm thinking of making little marker dots to represent distant masses of flowers. Or relying on the always appropriate white on white with just a hint of color, like the insides of Passion Flowers.
May the beginning of your weekend open up possibilities for you to do something you enjoy.
Best to all,
Donita
lovely card. x

Wow! that's quite something! I hadn't thought of using the Meandering Twig white on white, but it's a lovely idea.

GM Sue. Very pretty. Love it.
Good Morning Sue. Ohhh this is just beautiful. I love Flora and she is so versatile...... as if needed..... you can break her apart...... she doesn't mind...... and use her to fill in little gaps that need attention..... so yes I love her very much. This is a beautiful sample Sue. And will be among my favourites to recreate when needed. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds

It's pretty...maybe a little too fancy/fussy for my taste but I can appreciate all the different elements :)
Hi Sue,
Stunning! It's so lacy. There is so much to look at.
Thank you for sharing.
Hi Sue. Well, you have certainly thrown everything at this one. Love it, it is so frilly.

Thank you Sue this card is beautiful. When I first started making cards I didn’t like doing white on white and that the cards needed a bit of colour. Have changed my mind lately.
A lovely feminine, lacy card today & I just love white on white, so fresh looking. Thank you Sue, such beautiful Dies.
Hi Sue,
Very pretty girly card, love it.

So pretty and elegant. Xx
Very different card Sue, I am still on the fence. Love the idea of a channel card.
Lovely white on white with a touch of Violet. Reminds me of a Gunne Sax dress by Jessica McClintock that I had. I loved that dress!
Hello Sue
I love white on white but this is perhaps too busy for me.
Donita I wish I had the nerve to experiment I love reading about your ideas
Hi Sue, a lovely card but a trifle busy for me. The Heart Scrolls embossing folder is gorgeous but personally I think it takes away from Flora and I would use a softer design. I do love the Meandering Twigs in the channel though and the sparkle makes it so pretty.
Donita - shame that your experiment didn't work but at least you are brave enough to try. Hope the next one is more successful for you.
Frances
What a full card this is - so much going on. Love the white on white - so classy.
Hi Sue,
Lovely card, very ornate, a little bit too busy for me. But I love all those dies & EF you have used and I wish to have them all. Thank you for sharing.
Hugs from Toronto to you all and special hugs to all missing friends.
Still a newbie to Craft / not longer the newest, or the only across the pond Wilsonette

This is absolutely stunning Sue, love the entire card and white on white x
Hi Sue, WOW what a fantastic white on white card, with just a hint of colour, it’s just beautiful. Love Brenda xxx
Stunning card. There is so much to take in here. As someone else said, I thought you had more than one layer of the lovely Flora die. Love all those tiny pearls on the flowers. I've used the Passion Flower dies in all sorts of ways yet I've never used the small centre dies as flowers in their own right.
Take care everyone.
A beautiful delicate card. The white on white with your great combination of dies is like scantilly lace.
Stunning. love White on White.
Hi Sue
This is my kind of card, I love cards with pretty and intricate dies and this card ticks all the boxes!

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes.
A beautiful card Sue I've tried white on white a while ago but my low vision became a real problem when I couldn't see where one element began and another ended but I can see how much patience goes into making a card like this. It really is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Hugs to all.
Marie P.
Really pretty card. X
Hi Sue
This is my all time favourite - in fact I might attempt this after a rest.
Hugs,
Rose
Always love white on white and the dies are so delicate.
