Beautiful card Sue, very lovely. Is it for me?
Work wasn't too bad although I wasn't feeling my best, very tired last night but glad to be back with my team.. The bosses were very good considering that HR told them they couldn't take any action as I was managing my illness very well, so no worries there till next time.
Tina, glad you enjoyed your meal, Happy Birthday Peter, if you are looking down. Light a candle for him Tina.
Elaine, good that Andrew is feeling better, hope that's still the case.
Tracey, you are naughty but I do the same with my daughters as I get the eyes from them .
Lesley called last night and i suggested a weekly Meals on Wheels, not surprised she said No.
Hugs to all, keep warm

Hello Sue and Craftonettes,

Isn't it funny how an aspirin bottle and a bandaid can be cute? They really are, though.

Perfect timing for this sentiment at this time of year.

I kept wondering when the flowers were going to go on!

Blessings on your Tuesdays.

Love,
Donita in R.I.

That's my two out on their freezing frosty first walk of the day which means I can wish you "A good morning Sue" I decided I'd go against my first idea of buying my lovely 'keeper' dies for his birthday lol although Andy being Andy I know it would have made him laugh, and it would have back fired anyway cuz he would have put it away and make me ask to borrow it (that's just the way we are - we laugh away illness and concerns, and tease each other sometimes ) !!!
but this little set of accessories was on my list, and another set I took with me to market but I was far too cold to carry on making cards, I couldn't feel the dies and was afraid I'd make myself look stupid by keep dropping them, so I'll just enjoy working with them at home when my fingers are warm enough to be able to feel them. They are such a wonderful idea Sue they really are, and today's card and tutorial show just one way out of many many more that these tiny dies can be used, and so very versatile that they can be mixed and matched, just because its like a first aid kit doesnt mean you cant add a small floral element from the garden set, after all, don't we sometimes send flowers to our true lovely friends/family when they are quite unwell ? So why not on a card, and again, after you showing us how to cut a small portion of the SB frame we dont have to use all elements, the skies the limit with all the accessory sets you designed (I have to say though Sue, I've struggled to get tablets down that big lol) on that note I'll wish you a happy and healthy day, send you a hug to help with any 'blues' you may have, and thank you again for doing what you do perfectly xxx 😊

Elaine hope Andrew and Helen are ok, hugs to you all.

I love this card. I have all the shadow box dies and they are so useful - not just for shadow boxes. The medicine bottle can be filled with hearts too for a completely different idea or I use small mints to look like tablets as per the video.
Pam, glad you had a reasonable day at work and your managers treat you ok. My daughter has a chronic and very rare lung condition and her managers never understood. It makes it even harder then.
Crafty hugs to all.
Happy crafting.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes a stunning card with all the accessories, it is the sort of get well card that would cheer up anyone who is under the weather and what a great idea from Debra K for the tablets to use tic tacs, I was struggling to get some little tiny mints so I will try that.

Pam so pleased that the day went OK, don't try to run before you can walk, take it easy when you can, you will be fighting fit before you know it, but please be careful with this awful weather too.

Tina T, my thoughts go out to you on what would have been Peter's birthday today, he knows you will be there. hugs.

Good afternoon Sue and the Wonderful Wilsonettes,
Thank you Sue for making me a get well card today, i think i need what's on this card if they are anti biotics, and your temperature gauge is just about spot on. Now even though this is covered in medicinal products it is still a nice cheer you up card, thank you flower.
Pam, i am hazarding a guess that you work for the civil service flower, either that or your bosses and HR have been taking training courses from the civil service in sickness policy. It's a pity they weren't so vigilant with the people who do take the mickey out of the sick days and seem to get away with it with no redress at all. I'm sorry that you're still feeling a bit low but hopefully you are on the road back up lovely lady, take care please.
Tina, sending you hugs and i hope that you are having as good a day as you can flower. I'm one of those stupid people that still make a card for both my Mum and Dad even though they are no longer here, but i take it up with their flowers to their graveside and wedge the card in, as it's my way of coping with them not being here. I don't know if their cards blew away or if someone took them but they;re not there when i next go up. Tomorrow is going to be a difficult day for you flower but i'll be saying my own wee prayer for your Peter and rock it down that aisle Peter to your brilliant music.
Elaine, hugs to you, Andrew and Helen, i hope both are getting better with their own trials and tribulations that they are having to bare. And you madam need some pampering as well as you are a mum with more worries than most, so i hope that you are being looked after as well dear lady.
Well we have a rotten smirry rain day once more with the rotten clouds pinching my beautiful hills that i can see the lovely designs that the bracken and gorse is making on them dividing them up with their nooks and crannies, their styles and burns. I hope that it gets brighter weather soon but at least the nights are getting longer even if it is only to 5:00 oclock, it makes such a difference on everyones mood, a great pick me up it is.
Love and crafty hugs to all that need, want or could do with them

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

What a fabulously fun card that is sure to put a smile on the face of any recipient. I so enjoyed the demo, the plaster and pill bottle look so authentic and the addition of the lacquer really does give the appearance of a glass thermometer. Your shadow box concept and dies prove yet again just how versatile they are, suitable to so many occasions, tastes or sex even. One misgiving on my part would be how monumentally fiddly it would be to get the 3D foam tape around the pill bottle....i have bitter experience of trying to do a shaker card with acetate and this technique only for the beads to somehow engineer an escape and leak all over my craft table! That aside, it's a fab card and one i would have gladly received in times of ill health.
I'm guessing nobody noticed but i have been absent for a number of days due to a persistent migraine and a number of seizures...the two invariably go hand in hand:-(....the good news is that i have now returned to the land of the living, however the flip side is that i have had such a boring few days that I'm afraid that i have nothing juicy to report.....I can't even give you any fresh gossip concerning my flighty friend Yvonne because, as Maureen says, she has lost her charger and is unable to communicate with her rapturous public:-( She will be heading home on Friday though so normal service will be resumed forthwith.
Maureen, I take it that your meeting with royalty went to your satisfaction.....i am trusting that you have no designs on usurping my place as head of her Highness' household, i take my position very seriously and being of royal blood myself, i feel that i am more than qualified for the position:-)
Myra, thankyou sweet lady for your kind thoughts, we stand together as the brighter, more attractive, and in my case younger better half of a deadly twosome, I am there for you my dear when the burdens of your association get to heavy to bear:-)
Pam, glad to see that you are better and back at work again, so glad your bosses haven't given you any grief this time. Make sure you wrap up warm in this cold weather of latexxx
Tina, thinking of you today, lighting a candle is how i like to mark the anniversaries/birthdays of loved ones that have passed, I'm sure Peter would appreciate it. My thoughts are with you for the funeral also, it will be so hard saying goodbye but i believe that you will be together again one day so i hope that can be of a comfort in your darkest times. Hugsxxx
June, your craft class sounded great, i wish that i had something local because it really enriches your crafting experience doing it in a group setting.
P, sending hugs to you and your fur babies my dearxxx
Elaine, hope you are feeling a bit brighter and that Andrew has coped with his treatment this past week. Hugsxxx
Wheely, it's been a while since we've had the pleasure of your company, i do hope that you and Billy are well.
Lynda, sending you massive hugs tooxxx
Tracy, we've all been there, trying to conceal the fact that we've bought another die when we promised to save money, i hope it arrives before Friday....for your sake!:-)
Sending huge hugs to all my besties on the blog and anyone who just fancies a cuddlexxx
