Just Because

Hi there my crafty friends!  Today's card features several different groups of dies including the Geminis and Configurations.  They all work so well together, don't they?  I started by cutting my background edge using the cutting die from the Pavo.  I wanted it to peek out from underneath, but also have a shadow so I made a matching cut out of black card and glued it under the blue edge, just slightly offset from it.  Next I cut the Pavo out of white card and used the decorative piece and the other cutting edge.  I centred it so it showed from beneath my shadowed edge and added another piece of white card below it to square out the card base.  For the focal element, I cut two of the Lattice Arched Adornment and put them together with their centre flat edges meeting.  I stamped my sentiment then cut the Montreal centre die into a frame and attached it over the sentiment.  I added a small thin oval frame to accent the sentiment too.  I used a few of the flowers from the Delicate Garden frame, cut in blue to accent the sentiment as well.  The corners were adorned with the Elegant Lace Edger corners.  I added a thin black mat before adding my final pierced mat and blue, black and white mats to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.
