Realms of Glory

Hi bloggers!  I'm not sure who named this video but it is sort of appropriate!  The Christmas Angel 2015 is just so regal and glorious and this card shows her off quite nicely too.  This one would make a great batch card too as it really isn't a lot of work and fairly flat by my standards too!

The finished dimensions are 7" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Today's gift is just a beautiful example of less is more and with just one die -your Angel- you have created a masterpiece.

Well it's absolutely tipling it down here this morning and it's my Knit and Natter afternoon too so fingers crossed it may have slowed down by the time I have to go out.

To all in pain and suffering today I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Good morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This is a lovely card Sue and love how you have made the rays coming from the star is clever. I thought the star was from last years angel but it's lovely to have the varying sizes as not all stars are the same size, they are all different as well. Thinking a bit a head here Sue and wondering what 2016 Angel will look like and wouldn't it make a lovely card with the 3 of them on it. Ok back to present,i think i will need to try the texture paste to add to some die cuts as i love the soft hint of a sparkle that you get from the paste, just enough to show but not overwhelm.
I have the lads here to reharl the house today so i am tea and coffee duty so i will leave you all the now with a wish for a lovely day like we are having up here in Central Scotland ,

Hi Sue, wow!! When I first looked at the card I thought you'd somehow had to crease it to make the rays until I watched the video your just so clever. Hi Sue
Gorgeous and striking. Not had a chance to watch the video but I will.
Bit busy. Got my mother in law and sister in law coming for dinner. Just made a huge chicken stew and we'll have it with dumplings. Well everybody else will but I can't because I'm not allowed. They aren't gluten free. Gutted - I do so love a dumpling! Weather is definitely getting colder and nights drawing in. I thought stew was a suitable winter warmer comfort food type of a meal.
Looking forward to seeing Phil on Hochanda. Is it wrong to hope that my guests will be gone by 8 so I can watch the live show? I know it will be repeated a little later but it isn't quite the same as watching it live.
Anyway off to have a quiet sit and relax. ONLY 4 MORE SLEEPS TO ALLY PALLY!!!!! Prepare yourself Sue for this adoring fan x
Hope every one ok.
Lorraine - I presume that you are chasing round the neighbourhood in your nylon nightie trying to bribe your cat to come home. Hope you are ok x

Good afternoon lovely Sue and the fabulous Wilsonettes,

I so appreciate your Christmas card demos since they are giving me plenty of inspiration for when I get started...still occupied with relatives birthday cards and co ordinating boxes....I don't currently own the delightful angel die however I hope to remedy that faux pas shortly.
This is a lovely straight forward card that would be a 'joy' to emulate:-) I so look forward to your video demos, they are so informative.
Are you getting plenty of rest before the weekend and meeting your adoring public- they're might be a rogue element intent on hogging the limelight and dominating your meet and greets, it's the overly excited individual with an ASBO and an electronic tag under the pseudonym Louise:-)
It's been a lovely sunny day here in Stirling, haven't seen much of it, too busy changing my bed linen and ironing my flannelette nightwear:-)
Finally sat down with a cuppa only to be accosted by a rabid Brodie wanting an afternoon constitutional, I'm attempting to ignore him hoping he'll use his litter tray but the little dear is highly persuasive!
Looking forward to Phils shows tonight, thankfully I don't have any guests...or friends come to think of it:-)....so I won't be rudely interrupted. Perhaps you should try ruining your stew Yvonne so that your guests leave early to get a chippy on the way home! My Mum is renowned for her plump, moist dumplings but she doesn't bring them to the table very often nowadays:-)
My cats are very well trained I'll have you know Yvonne, they are just very discerning and won't come home for anything less than a premium brand, my fault really for spoiling them I guess. You have to work hard for a cats affection, they don't just give it willy nilly, that's what I love most about them.
I really wish I lived closer to Ally Pally, I have never been but would really like to get myself organised enough to save for the next show in April- we could perhaps meet up Yvonne, it would be nice to see my partner in crime in the flesh so to speak, as well as the other Wilsonettes. Remember my advice about the Tena Lady though, indiscreet leakage could ruin an otherwise beautiful moment Yvonne.
I am a bit concerned about deb C too it's been a while since we've heard from her, I do hope that she isn't lost amongst a mound of holiday washing, never to be seen again! Who will provide your armed protection at Ally Pally Yvonne? You may have to delay the introductory meeting of BCAS if suitable replacements can't be found!
Off to watch some YouTube demos, Brodie has gone quiet now:-)

Love and crafty hugs,

Laine1972xxxxx

Hi Sue

Just beautiful, saving the video until the football has finished (we're winning at the minute but there's still 20 left for us to foul that up!) The background is just beautiful and I think whoever named it was spot on. The shadowing on the sentiment looks amazing ans it's all just stunning. Going to watch Phill's show later if I can see a replay online or a repeat I can record overnight.

Maria, thank you :-) hug has made today about the sunniest it's been! Been so grey outside today, Mr W walked Billy about 7:30pm and said outside it looked like midnight it was so dark! More sleeping today so it didn't bother me too much. Billy happy to accept all the cuddles he can and reciprocates with many a waggy tail and sloppy kisses, bless him. Last night he got a blanket for me off the chair, dropped it on my feet and I had to work fast to cover my legs before he plopped himself down on them. He does love a nice blanket, made better by my legs under to rest his head on! Hugs back at you from both of us x

I can feel the excitement from those going to Ally Pally. Give Sue a hug from me please ladies! Make sure you enjoy a nice cuppa and a slice of cake on my behalf in between all that shopping!

Sending extra special hugs to all those who are unwell, in hospital or just out. Hugs to every one of you wherever you are, ave a lovely evening and a Wonderful Wednesday tomorrow!

Helloooo Sue and the Wilsonettes! First of all what a beautiful and wonderful title for the video x It really does show a supreme statement x Great video as always Sue. I can't believe it was done so quickly and yet looks stunning. The angel die is just gorgeous on her own anyway, but just the bits added here and there that you have done, with the colour around her, on her and the stars added just makes her stand out all the more. Gorgeous Sue xx Sending love and hugs to you Sue, your mom and family xx sending them to our Wilsonettes who are in need too xx Love Karen xx

Hi Sue. WOW !! What a fab video today and your Christmas card is just stunning !! I love the technique you have used for creating your background. I thought it was much harder to do than that !! Your Angel Die is stunning and another one that I must have !! I love the "Joy" word die that comes with the set and those beautiful little stars to. I think it is a fab idea to put the texture sparkle paste over the Angel to give her that extra bit of sparkle and shine. This is such a beautiful card Sue. Thank you for sharing. Sending you lots of love Sue from Tres x x x

Sue & WW,
This angel is quite a beauty! I'm eager to watch the video to see how you've done the rays. I hadn't planned on buying the angel because I have such a long wish list of items that have more general use (backgrounds, borders, frames etc) but then one of the local stores had her in stock! How could I resist? I want to encourage the locals to carry Sue dies, so what better way than to purchase the ones they have? And how lovely to have this be the post the very next day! It was meant that I should have her don't you think? Lol

Hi Sue,
Love this card how you made the shape of cloud and shading of background. But never thought to make the angle in black and we'll it works. It just goes to show you that we create our own bonderies and its OK to break them.
Thank you
