Felt Foldover Flower

Hi bloggers!  I have always loved making flowers out of felt.  They have always been cut to length by hand, then each petal had to be individually cut after the felt was folded.  It was a very time consuming process.  This is no longer the case as there is now a die that will do it all for you!  The video shows what to do with the cut die piece, it's just so easy now!

Don't forget to scroll down to see the names of the Blog Candy Winners!

Now for the winner of the Wednesday Card Giveaway.  This week's winner is:

Brenda Lello!!!

Congratulations!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your card.

The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

I wasn't sure about this foldover flower die when it was first launched but after receiving a card with these little felt flower's on it I changed my mind altogether. They are plain but in a very pretty way, so I have my felt on order and look forward to using it, but with my fiddly finger's id not make such a beautiful flower as you show on this very pretty card.
Hope you have a lovely day.

I really loved your video this morning and it has to go without saying that today's gift is just beautiful in every single way. From your backing right up to that gorgeous flower which is just the icing on the cake. Your colour palette is just up my street too so yes it's a win win for me and is just the start I needed this morning.

Have just got to do some housework this morning and then well I'll just have to see what comes along.

To all in pain and suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Good Morning Sue and the lovely Wilsonettes,

What a treat to have a demo today and a truly stunning card also. This is one of my favourite cards this week, it incorporates some gorgeous dies-the felt flower die didn't initially appeal to me but on seeing the fabulous results I think that it really will be slipping into my next basket for sure. I love the colour combination and the diamond striplet peeking out from behind the Portugese background is a revelation.
I have a much quieter day today so I think that I will catch up on some of your videos later after a spot of ironing. Feel a bit jaded after an eventful night when Brodie got over excited and knocked a full glass of water off my bedside table, hence much bleary eyed damage limitation and sheet changing at 3am. Life is never dull with furry babies around!
Brenda, congratulations on winning Sues lovely card for this week, a prize as welcome as the blog candy draw winnings I am certain.
Have a lovely weekend whatever the weather and wherever you are.

Love and crafty hugs,

Hi Sue, Just got around to catcing up with your blog as my sister paid us a visit today so spent most of the time talking and eating. She wondered where I got some of my inspiration from for the birthday/Christmas cards which I've made her in the past, so I showed her your blog. She thought the video was great and that even she could follow your instructions and make a card; but I told her that she'll have to buy your dies first or we could share. We thought it was such a pretty card and the felt flower is so much better when using the die instead of cutting it by hand. Thank you. Hugs xx Pauline A

This is a beautiful card. I love everything about it except the felt flower. It makes me think of a dish scrubber. Can the die be used to make flowers from paper or other materials?
