Spring Die Launch Weaving Dies

Hello crafters!  Welcome to the first blog die launch of 2015!  I am very excited about this launch as there are seversal brand new categories of dies within this launch.  This is the largest die release that I have done to date with 38 sets being included in this release.  As always, I will be giving away a set of each die and the drawing for these will be done and the winners will be posted on Friday the 13th of Feb.  so it will turn out to be a real lucky day for 38 of you!!  I am starting with my new weaving dies as I am so very excited about these!  They are probably the least exciting looking dies, but when you see what they do, I think you will agree that they are a much needed item for your crafting arsenal.  There are two types: the Classic Weaving die and the Striped Weaving dies.  They can each be used alone or together like I have done in the card sample shown.  Aren't they gorgeous together!  If you would like to be included in the drawing to win either one of these dies, just leave me a comment!  The next blog post will go live at 12 noon.  Hope to see you back then!  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue, Congratulations on the proper launch of what looks to be a fantastic and huge collection. I popped by earlier but couldn't stop as I was off to the hairdresser. I'll catch up with the other comments later but had to say I love this card. I am very familiar with paper weaving but must admit the cutting is so tedious I don't do it too often however these dies would make it so much easier. Looking forward now to a step-by-step or video :-)
Keen now to see all the other reveals and will see you again in just a few minutes!

I am lucky as it is my birthday on Feb 13th, guess what I will be spending my money on and then there is valentines day, I know what I would rather have than a mushy shop bought card and a box of chocolates/flowers, will be dropping plenty of hints!!!!

Hi Sue

Here I am, fashionably late! Things kept popping up when all I wanted to do was see your new dies used in the way they should do! Such a pretty card, a technique (paper weaving) I have done on a few special cards but oh! the trauma! Trying to trim those strips the right size, messing it up, having to change or mix colours or patterns because I'd messed up and run out of the original colours. What a brilliant, brilliant idea Sue, you're so intuitive as to what people need but don't realise they need! Well done. Can't wait to see what else I've got to look forward to (checks clock) this morning!

Hugs,

T x

Hi Sue
Wow, so worth the wait...
congratulations on the launch of your new dies, they all look amazing & you can always tell a 'Sue Wilson' style card as they are unique & always beautiful.

Love this weaving technique & the colours you have chosen looks stunning.
Very clean, fresh & different & the glazed flower is amazing & together with your stick pins finishes the card beautifully.
