Hi friends! I hope you are still enjoying the
Radiant Rectangles as much as I am! I used the largest two die sizes from the set to cut an aperture out of the centre of my coconut white card. I embossed the remaining background area with my
Heart Lattice embossing folder. I added some mounting foam to the back of it and mounted it on a piece of red card. I recessed the
Radiant Rectangle piece that I cut out of the centre, gluing it back into the aperture opening. I cut the smaller die out of
coconut white card and matted it in the centre of the card. I stamped the stamp from the
Justrite set called Enjoy The Day Labels Four and added the sentiment in the middle. Using
distress markers, I coloured it and mounted it in the centre of my card to complete my focal element. I tied a double bow with
frilly edged white ribbon and added
stick pins and a
heart dazzler.
Flatback pearls were used to adorn the corners and a double white pierced mat finished the card. A pretty and quick card that could be used for a number of occasions with a simple change of sentiment. Finished dimensions are 7" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x

Oh my goodness Sue, this is absolutely gorgeous hun. I just love love love this one. And I fell totally in love with this embossingfolder too, which brand is that??? Don´t think, I´ve ever seen this one before, at least not I remember. You mention it´s name, but not who´s made it, and I would really love to find it, so please tell me, which brand it is, so I know, what to look for??

Lovely card. I too love the rectangles they are so useful. One question though - how/where do you get your different sized envelopes for posting your cards? If you make them how do you do it? I have an envelope maker but it only does standard sized envelopes and I can't seem to get it right when I try to make odd sized ones.

I have just finished a card following instructions for another radiant rectangles card you made a while ago which by coincidence was also red and white but I made it for my mum in white, teal and black. It is her birthday at the end of next week. If it is for my mum or dad I always have to make two cards as they always ask me to make the cards they give to one another too !!
