On Your Special Day

Hi guys!  I have taken about a million pics of this to try to show it in it's best light.  Out of those, about a half dozen are okay enough to use!  White on white is always difficult to capture in print, but beautiful in real life.  I embossed a background for my card using vellum and my Heart Lattice embossing folder.  I used a smear of Cosmic Shimmer glue in the corners of the vellum to adhere it to a coconut white piece of card.  I say "smear" because, if you put dots of glue, it does show.  If you put the dots on then run your finger over them to smear them thinner, it doesn't show, but it is still strong enough to hold the vellum in place.  I added some pearls to the corners as accents (they can also be used to cover glue that shows too if necessary.)  I cut the Leafy Frame by Heartfelt Creations in coconut white card.  I added foam mounting to the back in strategic locations to add dimension to it.  I stamped my sentiment and embossed it in Silver Shine embossing powder and added my frame over the top, centring it over the saying.  I cut some Vintage Floret flowers out of vellum.  Using the stamps inked with clear perfect medium, I pressed the die cut into the inked stamp.  I heat embossed them with white powder and assembled them by offsetting two die cuts per flower.  I added them atop the matching flower sections in the frame.  I tied a messy bow out of white seam binding and added it to the side of my card with a glue dot.  A clear medium Dazzler and stick pins were added as embellishments.  I finished up with my pierced mat layer and a final white mat.  Wouldn't you just love this one for a wedding or anniversary occasion?  Finished dimensions are 6" x 7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x
