Lavender Thank You

Hello all!  Luscious lavender today!  Using the Bracket Border dies, I cut an edge on a piece of coconut white card then embossed it with my Heart Lattice embossing folder.  I used two other dies in the Bracket Border set to cut the pale lavender border, then the darker purple border at the bottom of the card.  I layered them up under my white embossed edge to create the background to my card.  I stamped the Jewelled Frame stamp from my Stamps To Die For Range by Creative Expressions.  I used a clear perfect medium pad and heat embossed it with white powder.  I cut it out with the matching Opulent Oval die.  Using Dusty Concord distress ink while it was still in the die, I inked it to show off the pattern in the stamp.  I cut a decorative piece to sit behind it from the Radiant Rectangle die set.  I stamped my sentiment in black and used the Adorning Squares to cut it out.  I inked this piece as well with Dusty Concord ink for a highlight.  I mounted it in the centre of my focal element and added some flatback pearls to accent it the dies.  A final pierced edge to the double white mat completed the card.  A simple layout for any occasion.  Finished dimensions are 7 x 8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x
