Sneaky Peek For Sundays Shows

                                                                                           Hi bloggers!  I will tell you straight away that the colours in this one are blush, white and black.  Of course, try as I might to get a pic that showed the colours true to life was just about impossible.  I loved the way the card turned out so hopefully, you will be able to catch my shows on Sunday and see it on air!  Today's sneak peek showcases the new Vintage Floret Frame die from Heartfelt Creations.  Isn't it lovely!  And yes, the Vintage Floret stamps and dies are back (finally)!  They sold out so quickly the first time they were on that I just had to have them back, plus they are just so much fun to work with too!  I started this card by embossing the blush coloured background with my Heart Lattice embossing folder.  Oh and by the way, the embossing folders were supposed to have been on this show, but the order was delayed.  So sorry, but they should be here in time for my shows in July.  After embossing, I stamped the Vintage Floret frame on to black card and embossed it with black detail powder for a tone on tone look.  I lined up the matching die and cut it out, adding mounting foam to the back in strategic locations to raise it for dimension.  Next I stamped the sentiment (from JustRite stamps) and the decorative circular frame around it on coconut white card.  I used some Spun Sugar distress ink to lightly ink around it, then mounted the Floret Frame over it so it was centred in the opening.  Using the Vintage Floret dies, I made three flowers (each using two offset die pieces) and inked them lightly in Spun Sugar.  I added them to my frame as accents.  I cut two of the new Heartfelt Creations Blossom corner dies out of blush card as well.  I glued them in place on the sides of my embossed background and attached the frame over them so the lacy edges were peeking out from underneath.  I tied a messy bow with the Flesh colour of the seam binding and added a pale pink Dazzler to the middle.  I seated the bow atop some black jute and black tulle to make it a bit more interesting and added two black pearl stick pins to finish the embellishment.  I split up a black rhinestone swirl and added some to the top left and the bottom right on the card for a bit of the bling.  I matted it with a thin mat of black, then finished with a double white pierced mat.  I do have a fun demo planned showing another way of using the Floret Frame on Sunday so I hope you can tune in at noon, 1pm and 5pm to see the shows!  Finished dimensions are 7" x 9" in size.  All for now, Sue x
