Hi everyone! Pink and soft brown, one of my favourite colour combos for today's card. I picked a soft brown and cream striped paper for my background and added an embossed top and bottom using the Valour Embossibility for texture. I cut one of the Resplendent Rectangles out of brown card and cut it in half length wise and just tucked it behind my striped card for a pretty edge peeking out on the top of the card. On the bottom of the card, I used a bit of cream teardrop lace for a soft romantic feel. I used the Resplendent Rectangle again to cut the back piece for my focal element. Next I stamped my sentiment in a lighter shade of brown and heat embossed it. I then cut a frame from the inner piece of the resplendent rectangles. I glued it on top of my sentiment then trimmed the excess away. I mounted it with 3D foam for dimension. I used the Spiral Flower four to make a couple of pale pink flowers. I added a pearl to the centre and some of the swirls from the Jewelled Flower and Flourish set. A tiny pink butterfly was added from the set also. thin strip of the card matching my sentiment and added them to the sides and top of the card. I used this piece as a border for my Cosmic Shimmer pearl PVA glue dots. I pierced the outside edges of my mats as a final border for my card. I just love the romantic feel to this card. What can I say about today's card that hasn't already been said? I love those rectangle dies they are the only ones I don't have I've spent so much this month so will have to wait, the sentiment stamps are the next thing on my list they fit any occasion. Watched the recordings of your Sunday shows and just when I thought you had covered all flowers you come up with the coil flower. I don't have the ribbon you used so tried with ribbon I already had and WOW it looked fabulous thanks for the idea. After watching you demonstrate how to remove the tray from the old GC I was able to do it so I am ready for the delivery of my A4 embossing folder.
