Hello my friends! I don't think that I have ever posted a card in peach and grey before. Eager to hear what you think, does it work? I actually like grey with just about any other colour, yellow, yes, red, yes, lavender, yes, pink, yes, teal yes. I could go on and on. The choice was made at the time because that is all that I had handy. It was late at night at my Mom's and I wanted to craft, so peach it was! I started by embossing the background with the paisley embossibility folder. My background is larger than the folder so I had to do it in two sections. The pattern doesn't line up, but I knew I was using a topper that would cover the seam if it showed. I think that is the best use of that type of folder. Just plan your card layout to hide the seam and you won't be disappointed. I mounted the grey embossed background so that a paler shade of peach was peeking out from behind it top and bottom. I stamped my sentiment on white card. To the side of the sentiment I stamped a floral swirl from the new Design Element stamp set using Tattered Rose distress ink. I cut a frame out of peach card using the largest Floral Oval die with an oval die inside. I mounted the sentiment so that it showed through the frame and attached it to my card. I added a double bow out of white silky crush ribbon. I cut two of the jewel fantasy pieces and added it to either side of the bow. A big fancy black button and two black pearl stick pins finished it off quite nicely. A couple more finishing touches like the black rhinestone swirl in the upper corner for balance and some piercing around the edge complete the card. What do you think, are you warming to the grey and peach yet? all for now, Sue x

I wonder do you place them in boxes as I assume they would be to large for an envelope? Love the colour combo on this card!
