Hi everyone! This one has loads of bling, doesn't it! I started with a faux letterpress technique for the background. |I inked the negative side of the heart embossibility folder with Antique Linen distress ink. I ran the folder through and transferred the ink to the white card to create my background. I started with a piece of taupe card large enough for the largest size of the Floral Oval die. I cut a piece of the self adhesive sheets and applied it to the taupe car. I cut the Floral Oval out of this piece. Using a craft knife, I cut the centre of the oval right on the piercing holes. Once apart, I peeled the backing paper off the centre oval and coated it with the gold mica flakes. I peeled the backing paper off the edge piece and coated it with clear micro beads. I put the two pieces back together and mounted it in the centre of my background. I added a small piece of decorative paper to the bottom of my background and cut two Moroccan borders to separate them. I tied a double bow from the champagne coloured frilly edged ribbon as an accent. A fancy button and a couple of crystal stick pins finished off my bow. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the floral oval die and inked it with antique linen. I cut another one the same size in taupe, cut it in half and used it as an accent to mount behind my sentiment. I mounted this piece off centre of the background die with the beads and mica flakes. I added three small pearls to the top corner, some pearlie swirlies top and bottom and pierced around the edges to complete the card. Hope you enjoyed the bling today! All for now, Sue x
