All White Again!

Good morning all!   As promised a sneak peek at one of the new cards that I have been working on over the past few weeks.  This one is probably, if not my absolute favourite, one of my favourites as I love the all white card.  It doesn't photograph very well, but it is quite lovely in person.  I am loving the Nestabling too!  Yes it is on the shows this week, finally!  Here we have Labels 23 and Labels 22 nestabling.  I have used the Hedged Maze embossing folder on the background, you have to look hard for it, but trust me it is there.

Here is a close up at the flowers I made using the frilly edged white organza ribbon.  I am planning on showing how to make these as well as another method using the same ribbon, it is very versatile.  The Tim Holtz piercing ruler that I use for all my piercing is on the show again as well.  It has been absolutely ages since we had it on any of the shows.  So good to see it back!  I will probably demo this card on the first show at noon so I hope you can tune in to watch.  All for now, Sue x

PS I think your photography is really good I was thinking of asking you for tips as I always seem to make my cards catch too much light resulting in "glare"

Stunning - I love white on white. Just saw you demo the piercing and I'd never thought of using pins to hold my ruler in place Doh!

Janet said...

Just watched the demo - poor you, having to rush like that. I think the presenters always talk too much and don't leave enough time for the demos!!
Anyway I ordered the piercing ruler first thing - before it sells out again.
I love the all white card - very elegant.

Hi Sue, I have been loving the shows today, except so much stash, not enough time for your wonderful demos! Hi Sue, watched only the first show so far, trouble is there is too much stuff on there and by the time they have been through it all there's only 10mins for a demo!! Think I'll just fast forward the rest of the shows. What a shame when you have done all the prep too. Loved the card you did though.

I have that tim holtz ruler!! I shall hope that my recorder was set for the show you did the demo in, as I only set it for one of the freeview shows missed the others for some reason! Still, I am sure that your 'best' cards will turn up here as inspiration with a helpful explanation as to how you made it. Good luck with the rest of the shows!

However, since watching you on C&C I have come a long way with my card making...and for that alone, I thank you!!!!
