The Grand Calibur Is Back!!

Hi everyone!  I feel like I should run around shouting, the Grand Calibur is back, the Grand Calibur is back!  It has taken a couple of months to get it back in stock since the sell out launch on Create and Craft in December, but it is finally here and it is the POTW starting tomorrow.  I was going to post my show times last week, but I thought that I would wait until closer to the date in case there were changes.  Guess what, there were changes!  I received the final dates for the upcoming POTW shows yesterday.  So here goes: Friday the 4th at 12 noon and a two hour show at 3pm, Saturday the 5th at 8am and 1pm, Sunday the 6th at 4pm, Tuesday the 8th at 12 noon and Wednesday the 9th at 8am.  There will be repeats shown throughout the days, but you will have to check the schedule on their website for those times.  On the POTW show, we will also be featuring the Grand Nesties and their coordinating smaller sizes as well as the Ideal World Exclusive dies.
This is one of my demo cards for the upcoming show just to give you a sneak peek.  I am very excited about a new product that will be on this week too.  I have used it on the sample shown above (as well as loads of other samples) and this may possibly be my new favourite addition to my cardmaking.  It is Vintage Ribbon (also called American seam binding) and I have used my distress ink to give it a shabby chic look for this card.  It is amazing stuff and you will really love it if you ever have had a hard time tying bows as it is supposed to be crunched and wrinkled and floppy so you end up with that fun vintage, shabby chic look that is so popular now.  I personally sourced this product because I just love the look of it on cards so I hope you like it as much as I do!  What do you think?  All for now, Sue x

WANT that American seam binding, recently saw the distress inks on crepe paper - gives a similar grungy effect. Really like this card Sue, but yet again I'm at work when you're live. Work really DOES get in the way of a good time!!!!

Lovely cards as usual! I'll miss looking at them while I'm away.

I see you are nearly ready to make another candy draw. I will be going into the hospital tomorrow, so I don't know if I'll be out before you draw. I guess we'll see what happens.

Sue, just a quick question. Can you buy the ribbon in the large shop at the end of the mall in Milton Keynes?? As it has sold out now on C&C and I'll be going in next week.
Love all the shows with all the demo's, had to laugh at Leonie head butting you. She was so keen to see what was about to come out from under the plate, she reminded me of what I'd be like if I were standing next to you too.
Good luck for the rest of the week.

Sue

What a great card! I love the embossing and the monochromatic colours. Great look with the banner tucked under the frame and tied down with the buttons and bows.
Thank you for sharing! :)
