Just A Quickie!

I had a little bit of free time tonight and I had the greatest urge to make a card using gray and yellow.  I found that I only had a very dark gray cardstock so I substituted silver for gray and this is what I came up with.  I was using our new Perfume Stamp Set (called You Look "Scent"-sational!)  I found a small piece of yellow polka dot card in my crafting stash, used an embossing folder to create the shaped dimensional background, did a bit of piercing, and added some ribbon and a flower to complete the card.  Quick and easy, hence the title.  What do you think of my colour urge?  All for now, Sue x

Not a usual colour combo - with yellow being a warm colour I'd have been inclined to pair it with another warm tone/metallic - but this card has prooved me wrong LOL Thank you Sue :D

What a different colour combination which really works. The embossed panel lifts the images really well I am not sure it would have worked with another flat layer of silver. Very clever! Keep them coming you always inspire me as your style is very different to mine.

Lovely colour scheme, have used yellow quite a bit but normally with oranges or other sunny colours, the silver/grey looks great!

Have never been a big fan or user of yellow, but may have to rethink that now. This really works! I've been catching up with you, wow you've been a busy girl!
