Who Did it?

Alright, who did it?  Who made Mother Nature so angry?!  I am beginning to wonder if the snow will ever stop!  I thought we were having global warming, not global cooling!

The good news is that while I have been house bound due to the ice on the roads around here( I kept watching cars skid down the road into the curb, so scary!), I did get a few more cards made for my jungle show on Sunday.  Here's one of them (I need to take some better pics of the other one)
I have to admit, I wasn't sure about this one, but when I finished it, I rather liked it.  Not my usual bright colours, I know kind of different for me, but sedate more masculine looking (if you can be cutesy and masculine at the same time)  I used bushed corduroy distressed ink and some Tim Holtz metal corners and some miscellaneous brads that I found in my stash (I just love having a rumble through my stash and finding something that works!)  Hopefully, I will get a few more done and posted before the show Sunday morning.  I would love to have your feedback.  In the meantime, can someone have a talk with Mother Nature about this weather, please?!  All for now, Sue x

The snow was melting nice quickly here, but then it had to snow again!! I am sick of staying in the house but there is no way I am going to try and push a pram through snow if I don't have to :(
Your card is lovely!!! I love the colours, so nice and warm.

Hi Sue

Great card, must get those stamps, they sure look fun to play with. The colours are really warm compared to the chilly weather here in Devon.

Looking forward to the show on sunday... keep up the good work. Cheers

Oh, I really love this card. Normally I'm also into more bright girly colors, but this looks really great :O)
Yeah, about the snow... Hehe I'm also thinking about the clima, not heating up, but cooling down... Guess the Clima Meeting actually worked ;o)

Hi Sue
I love the colours, they work really well with the stamp! I am not a great fan of cutsie but these stamps are humerous without being too cartoonie (just made up a word there)
I am looking forward to your show - Sheena yesterday and you on Sunday. We are being spoiled.
Good luck for Sunday - not that you need it as you always do a great job!

Sue, I like the colors. I am becoming more earthy in my 'old' age. I can really appreciate the subdued tone of this card. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday. What time are you on?

I see that you are on at 9am and 7pm. I guess I will have to roll out of bed at 3:45am to have my cup a joe ready. Maybe I will try to send an email to the show.
Good luck.

I love this card!! You have just proved that a card CAN be cutsie AND masculine at the same time.
As we say in England "Break a leg" for Sunday. (you may need someone to explain this one)!! lol

I love your beautifully crafted card, great colours and it would be an excellent card for those so difficult to cater for men!

Great show this morning Sue. Loved the pop up card and the stamping onto coloured card. Love the fresh colours you used and the white embossing. :)

Just watched the show as I recorded it for future reference. Great ideas - I loved the fold flat for postage pop up card. I will have a go at that one myself, but with different stamps as I don't have the animal ones. I have not been stamping for too long (about a year, though card making for ever.)
So I try to buy stamps that go with my more grungy style. I will try to get them soon though as they look ideal for childrens cards.
Thanks for a great show.
