Expressions

Hi there my crafty friends!  Two more expressions dies are up for grabs in this blog post.  The Thinking Of You die has a lovely ivy spray designed into it, which can be nipped and used by itself to.  The With Sympathy die has a simple Lily with it that lends a real elegance to those difficult cards that we all need to make at times.  Just leave a comment and I will draw two names from this post to win these dies.  I have also added the Pinterest button on to each post, so please pin the cards or the dies if you like what you see.  The last post of the day will be up at 6pm, hope you can pop back by then!  All for now, Sue x

Expressions

Hi bloggers!  Here's a few more of the new Expressions dies to show you, three in fact!  You can cover so many of your card needs with this lot!  These dies have been designed so that they are a bit more elegant, but yet very readable as well, which I think is very important.  Sentiment dies are the perfect choice for those of you that do not choose to stamp, yet they are a lovely way to get your message into the card.  Please just take a minute to leave me a comment in hopes of winning one of these three dies!  The next blog post goes live at 3pm today, so hopefully you can join us back here then.  All for now, Sue x

Expressions

Hi bloggers!  Today is all about the Expressions range.  There are nine new dies that have been added to this category.  The first two are called Ornate Expressions as they come with their own frames.  These mix and match as well, you can use both words in either frame and they have been designed so that they will fit either direction too!  I love versatility and these dies sets will definitely give you that!  Of course, you are also getting a few sneaky peeks of sets that are on their way later in the week as well! LOL  If you like these, you know the drill, leave me a comment on this post because I will be selecting two names out of this batch!  The next blog post will be coming your way at 12 noon.  Hope to see you then!  All for now, Sue x

Mini Striplets

Hello and welcome back!  Two mini Striplets are on offer for this post.  The Butterflies In Flight Mini Striplet is a bit different as it has extra separate butterflies that come with it!  They can be used to easily add colour to each of the butterflies in the striplet or even as an addition to cards without the striplet.  The Rose Garden mini Striplet, shown here, is beautifully feminine and looks lovely no matter how it is used, just wait until you see some of the videos using it, you will love it!  Leave me a comment if you would like to be included in the drawing to win either of these.  I have a full day for you tomorrow, starting as usual at 6am.  All for now, Sue x

Gemini Dies

Hi bloggers!  This post is showcasing the three new mini Gemini dies that in this latest release.  I nickname these my "mini gemis" as they are quite a bit smaller than their predecessors.  They work the same way with separate cutting edges on both sides and different designs on both edges.  The smaller size allows you to use them in your more petite cards or even as I have done here with the Ara die set to create a frame.  I'm sure that they will be an invaluable asset to your crafty arsenal with their amazing versatility.  Just let me know what you think with your comment, and I will add your name to the drawing to win any of these three die sets.  The last post for today will be at 4pm.  I think you will really like it, hope to see you back again!  All for now, Sue x

New Release Die Blog Launch-- Noble Dies

Hello crafters!  Time for my autumn die release blog launch!  I have the next four days filled with multiple posts showing off my latest collection.  As always, I am giving away a set of each of the new dies and you only have to leave a comment to be included in the drawings.  I will announce the winners on Wed. Sept 16th so that will give you plenty of time to have a look at all the posts!  First up are my newest Noble Dies.  I cannot tell you how many emails I have received asking me to do a set of large piercing dies.  Well large it is!  These sets are as big as I was able to make them and still fit through the A4 cutting machines!  Shown here, you can see that you will be able to make nice large frames and because they are double pierced, you will have the detail on the inside and outside of each frame!  There are both Double Pierced Squares and Rectangles sets as you can see from the packaging below, but you won't get a sense of the size until you see them in person, I promise!  leave me a comment to be entered in the drawings for either of these sets.  I will be back at 12 noon for the next post, hope to see you then!  All for now, Sue x

Many Thanks

Hi there crafters!  Today's offering is a white and rich plum combo (I know it may look black on some monitors, but it is a very deep plum colour).  I started by cutting six Portuguese borders out of coconut white card.  I covered a another piece of white card with a sticky self adhesive sheet and then laid my borders across it alternating the direction of the scallops.  Once in place, I coated the remaining area of the sticky sheets with Iced Snow for a lovely tone on tone bling.  I wrapped a piece of matching Raisin satin ribbon around the card on the left side and attached the ends to the back.  I made a rolled ribbon flower following my tape method, which is the very first tutorial listed at the top of my blog if you want a closer look.  I attached it to the card with a glue dot and some Cosmic Shimmer dries clear glue for good measure.  I seated it with some Dandelion Clocks and Maidenhair fern pieces as accents.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it with the Pierced Flags die set, then added a slightly larger plum mat to it.  The Majestic Monarch die cut in Rich plum card was added to the upper right corner of the card.  I finished the card with a simple white on white mat as it was getting a bit too large to add my pierced edge to it!  The finished dimensions are 8" x  9" in size.

A little bit of a tease I know, but just to give you the heads up, I have a new die launch later on in the week!    All for now,  Sue x

Just A Note

Good Sunday morning all!  Today's card is a quick little number to put together, great for when you need something nice in a hurry!  I started with a piece of coconut white card and used the Pavo Gemini die on the lower edge to give it a pretty decorative look.  I selected a piece of strawberry card (from my stash) and embossed it with the Bed Of Roses folder.  I sprayed it with permanent spray glue and dusted it with Diamond Snow.  I matted my white card on top and allowed it to peek out from underneath my dis cut edge.  For the focal element, I used the Toronto die, cut in white and backed it with the same strawberry card.  I cut two of the Petite Arched Adornments in white and added them to the ends to add a little decorative detail and fill the top of the card a bit more.  In the centre I used the Montreal die and cut it in white to use as a backdrop for my sentiment.  I use the Just A Note die and cut three of them and layered them up together, then sprayed them with adhesive and coated them with Diamond Snow for a bit of bling.  I added a few small Peonies and lightly inked the edges with Worn Lipstick before adding small pearls to the centre.  I pierced a white mat, then added a thin strawberry mat and another white at to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  8" in size.
