Especially For You
Hello there my crafty friends! For today's card I started by cutting the Stitched Starburst die in white and backing it with another piece of white card. Next I cut the Budding Blooms die with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card. The top die cut completely and the bottom white card just embossed the design into it so I used that to colour the image. I chose a palette of soft pink and cornflower blue with forest green for the leaves and vines. I used a soft white pencil to add highlights to the flowers. I glued the black die cut over the top, then added it to the centre of the card with mounting foam. I cut the Especially For You sentiment in white and glued it to the top of the Budding Blooms die. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8" in size. All for now. Sue x

I have the starburst die and confess it's not been used yet, it was one of many from CE when they were closing. The use again of black card stock for the frame of the budding blooms really draws your eye. WakeyL
