Witching You A Happy Halloween

Hello there my crafty friends!   I started with a piece of white card.  I sponged Blueprint Distress Oxide at the top of the card, then added Seedless Preserves ink and followed it with Crackling Campfire ink and finished with Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink.  I blended the colours into each other then added a handful of water clapped across the page, then sopped up with a piece of kitchen roll.  I cut a piece of black card in a hilly fashion for the bottom of the card.  I added some gravestones and pumpkin silhouettes and the Spooky Tree die with a raven on the branch.  I cut a round circle in black and added it to the sky with a partial tree across it.  I cut the Trick Or Treater die and used the witch and her broom and coloured her with markers.  I added the Witching You A Happy Halloween sentiment in both white and black, shadowed it and glued it to the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8 1/2"  in size.

The winner of the July bog launch will be announced tomorrow morning, don't forget to check back here then!  All for now, Sue x

Trick Or Treat

Good Sunday morning all!  I selected a piece of black card to use for the background on today's card.  I used an old Adirondack ink pad in Snow Cap colour and used the side of the pad to add wisps in the sky.  I used the pad face down o the bottom of the card to add a eerie smokey look to the card. I cut the three Skeletons in white then added their hats in purple by cutting the skeletons again and nipping away the hat.  I cut a large circle in white and added it to the upper corner.  I cut the Bat And Web Border in black and nipped away the three bats and added them to the sky.  I cut the Trick Or Treat sentiment from the Halloween Wordie sheets, matted it in purple and added it to the card. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8'  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Happy Christmas

Hello bloggers!  I selected a piece of aqua card and embossed it with the Falling Snow Embossing Folder.  I cut the outer die from the Stained Glass Candle die set out of silver sparkle card.  I added it to the centre of the card with mounting foam.  I used the Poinsettia Additions die set and cut three different sized flowers out of Brushed silver card.  I added them in opposite corners of the frame and added white leaves as accents.  I cut the Noble Happy Christmas die out of both Brushed Silver and black.  I shadowed the sentiment with the black die cut then glued it to the centre of the card.  I added some of the fall away stars from the frame randomly inside of the frame around the sentiment.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Happy Anniversary

Hello bloggers!   I cut the Checkered Heart die twice out of Blush card.  I nipped the hearts into rows of two and added mounting foam to raise them.  I added them to a piece of white card.  Using the Monochrome Paper Pad, I added strips of the thin lined black and white paper to the top and bottom edges of the background.  I cut two of the Pierced Summer Blossoms in white ad glittered them with some Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I seated the two flowers in the lower right corner and added some white leaves as accents.  I cut the Happy Anniversary in black and added it to a white shadow backing piece, then attached it in th upper corner with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Happy Christmas

Hello crafters!  I cut the Stained Glass Rectangles out of white card and I matted two consecutive sizes as the background.  I cut the outer die from the Stained Glass Songbird out of green card.  I cut the middle die out of both white and black, shadowed the white die cut with the black die cut and added it to the outer die.  I cut the Songbird die in black to use as a base.  I paper pieced all of the fall away pieces using brown, red, green and light blue card.  I paper pieced the background to the songbird by glittering a piece of white card with Diamond Sprinkles then cutting it for the fall away pieces.  I added the Songbird die cut all stacked together into the centre of the card.  I cut the Happy Christmas sentiment from the Christmas Wordie sheets and added it above the focal element.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Ghoulish Greetings

Hi there my crafty friends!  Here we are with the third post of the collection.  This post is dedicated to the Ghoulish Greetings die.  The sentiment has been done in a single die, but the words are separate so you can easily change the orientation of their placement on your cards and projects.  I love the versatility that this allows you too.  If this one would look good in your die collection, then just add your comment to the bottom of this post.  The final post of the day will be here at 6pm.  All for now, Sue x
