Start Each Day With A Song
Hello crafters! I selected a piece from my background stash that was created using Pixie Powders. I used Midnight Blue and Aqua Lagoon on this one. I cut a circular frame using the Double Stitched Circles. I matted it on a Scalloped Circle cut in white. Next I cut a multi-layered frame using the smaller sized Double Stitched Circles. I added a mat using the Scalloped Circles. I layered the frame onto the larger mat of pixied card and scalloped circles and attached them to the centre of the card with mounting foam. I cut the Start Each Day With A Song cut in black from the Bird Bath Accessories die set. I used the sprig of greenery from the Toucan set and attached it to the right side of the frame. I cut a few pink flowers to go on top. I cut the two hummingbirds out of some lighter colour pixied card and attached them to the frame on opposite sides. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue.
It's a lovely sample this morning although unless I knew someone that loved singing or did it for a living It's not one I would use. I wish I could sing though it must be a lovely feeling to have a pretty singing voice.

A beautiful card. A gorgeous pixie powdered background in a beautiful colour, and those humming birds are adorable. I like the contrast of the white die cuts and that splash of colour of those sweet little flowers.
