Hello Dear Friend

Good Sunday morning all!  I do so apologise for yesterday's snafu!  For the first time in over ten years my blog did not post on time.  Unfortunately I had a busy day yesterday and didn't get a chance to check it until about 4pm US time either!  Hopefully there won't be any issues with this one!  I selected a piece of pixied card for the background.  I used Purple Violet Pixie powder, leaving a bit of white space on this one. I used the Decorative Squared Octagons and put four of the dies together and cut them into the background.  I backed it with a piece of white card.   I cut the Double Stitched Octagon dies into two thin frames and arranged them around the area cut into the background.  I used the Hello Dear Friend sentiment cut in black and glued it into the centre of the smaller frame.  I used the Cosmos dies and cut three white flowers.  I cut the solid flowers out of white card covered with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I cut the outlines for the flowers out of the pixied card and put them together then coated the exposed adheisve with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz, then assembled the flowers.  I arranged the flowers around the frames and added white leaves as accents.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, Oh I was so worried yesterday that there was no blog post, and so pleased today to open it and see it was a technical hitch and you are OK. A beautiful card today, love the colours and the frames and flowers.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue. I thought there may have been a technical hitch yesterday, the wonders of modern technology. I would have to say that I prefer the hexagon shape to the octagon although I must admit that it is easier to fit an octagon onto a square shaped card.

This beautiful . Just what I expect to see from such a talented lady. I love the hexagon dies and have three full sets ... Two are fancy and one just plain going smaller in sizes. Hi Sue, I am so glad that I was right in thinking that it was just technology that kept you away from us for most of yesterday. I was, of course, keeping my fingers crossed that nothing untoward had happened to you. I love this card today, the colours and mix of dies have made something beautiful.
