Scrunched Lustre Polish Background

Hello crafters!  Grab your Lustre Polish and some cling film for today's card technique.  It gives a really interesting look to your backgrounds!

This is also the last video that will be put up on the blog for awhile.  I was due to film more videos in April, but the trip had to be cancelled and I do not know when it can be rescheduled at the moment.  I hope you will enjoy some of the older videos that you may have missed along the way in the meantime!

The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Hiya Sue. I have lots of cling film but no polish - no craft polish anyway and I'm sure Mr Sheen wouldn't be quite the same. I adore the effect of Pixie Powders and the cling film and if anyone hasn't been brave enough give it a go, I'm a 100% numb skull so if I can get lovely results anyone at all can do it. As far as the future videos it really doesn't matter. You've bought normality to us during these horrible worrying times so why would we be upset that we have no new tutorials, a video is a video and as there are a couple of newer crafters here I'm sure your older videos will be worth their weight in gold. Looking forward to my 10am coffee craft tutorial as always, in the meantime. ......

Hello Sue. and all
Favourite backgrounds are the plastic wraps, this one is so lovely because of the colours too. Love the double die idea, your videos always have great techniques so won’t be a worry at all to revisit some, maybe remind us of some of our older dies too.

Hello Sue, wonderful background effects and lovely dies. The colours are like the deep of the ocean you get lost in the colours. Thank you for the very many videos you've produced over the years. It will be good to go over them for more ideas I've forgotten about. Enjoy your weekend, wishing you wellxx

Hi Sue, yet another great card. I'm sure I speak for all when I say we are blessed with the phenomenal amount of tutorials you have given us in the past that will keep us busy, should we need to know how a technique is done. It's not as though we won't have your blog everyday. Now that would be a tremendous loss, should that happen. Stay safe and well. WakeyL

Beautiful card design and great video. I have tried your technique with the cling wrap over Lustre polishes. Even though I did create wonderful veins, I think I need to do this technique again and use more product to get deeper veins. Surely you are disappointed about not being able at this time to film more videos. And ofcourse your blog family is disappointed, too. We can wait and just do reruns of your older videos as well as look forward to the next set of videos whenever you are able to make them. I like watching older videos. I appreciate your older videos for they remind me of techniques I meant to try but forgot how to do them.

Hi Sue, a beautiful card. Love the polish background and the clever way you have extended the background die. Fully appreciate the reason for no more new videos for a while but as I have a brain like a sieve I often go back to your older ones anyway to remind me how to do something. You have a great archive and there is something in there for everyone.

Sorry Sue, I am sorry to hear no more news videos as yet, but life will return to normal and we can push 'resume' and get on with life again. In the meantime, thank you for all those videos you have given us, more than enough to go back on and get inspiration from, I never tire of your tutorials, etc....nothing like Sue Wilson and her cards, in my eyes. Take care everyone, be safe...luv Ursula xx

Will have a look at your videos - have been trouble finding them (but I'm sure that's only me with my computer troubles).
Have good bank holiday (yes it's Monday)
