Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Hello all! I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card using the Falling Snow embossing folder.  I cut a smaller piece of silver card and matted it with black, adding mounting foam to raise it and attached it in the middle of the card.  I cut the Felicity die in white.  I cut the Marie die in white and added an edge to it in silver and mounted it horizontally across the centre of the Felicity die.  I cut The Most Wonderful Time of the Year in silver card several times, stacked them then added it to the centre of the card.  I used the Triple Layer Poinsettias cut out of vellum.  I added silver dream gilding polish to the petals then assembled the flowers and added them in opposite corners.  I used white leaves as accents.  The card was completed with white, silver and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue
I just love those Poinsettias in vellum. So delicate and pretty. It gives them a completely different look to when they are cut from solid cardstock. Beautiful card x
Well I am off to the Isle of Wight tomorrow so there is a high chance that I won’t be able to comment for a week. Leaving at 6 in the morning and the WiFi where I stay is non existent. So apologies in advance x

Morning Sue. Another beautiful festive creation this Friday everything sings Sue Wilson made me lol. Im full steam ahead with my festive cards although i was off my feet for over a week knowing I had a big order to do plus market this Sunday it all felt so overwhelming with so many cards and a time scale in which to do it all, thank goodness for my Pinterest board and a wonderful designer, so I'll send my thanks for the help you are unknowingly giving me from afar and wish for you a lovely day xxx

Hello Sue and all
Just beautiful - what more can I say.. love the muted tones and your beautiful dies going together so well as usual.
Yes Vi, the bushfires have been very testing, as close as the end of my street and jets dropping retardant one street away. Very scary but quieter now.

Hello Sue,

The Marie and Felicity die work so well together making for an elegant card in silver and white sitting atop the Falling Snow embossed mat. The Mini Sentiment fits so well on the Felicity die cut. The Poinsettia flowers done in vellum add a softness to the card. Everything just goes so well together. Thanks for sharing and giving us inspiration every day.

Have a wonderful day.
