Thinking Of You

Good Sunday morning all!  It's a celtic kind of Sunday morning I think! LOL  I started with a piece of our merlot card as the background and selected Slate Grey to go with it.  I cut the Erin die out of the slate grey card twice.  I cut them in half and glued them to the Merlot card with the centres touching and the cut side forming the outer edge.  Next I used the Double Stitched Squares to make a multi layered frame with a white base and a thinner Slate Grey frame on the top inside.  I added it with foam over the background.  Next I cut two more of the Erin die, one out of white and one out of black.  I used the black die as an offset shadow behind the white one and attached it in the centre of the card.  I cut two small circles, one black, one white as a base for the sentiment.  I added the Thinking of You sentiment cut in grey with a black shadow to the centre of the card.  The card was completed with white, grey and merlot mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. What a really unusual colour choice for you today, love it. Great idea to cut the die cut in half to use it as a background. This would make a really great design for tiles.
