Hi crafters! Today's card was planned as a Hochanda demo on my last shows, but I never got to it before the shows ended. I started with a piece of
coconut white card and stamped the
Shaded Peony stamp all around the edge with a
Black Achival ink. I used
Gentle Lavender Chalk Cloud ink and inked the edges. I dried it with a heat tool, then added double sided sticky tape all around the edge then coated it with
Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz. Next I cut a
Double Stitched Pegboard square and inked the edges with the same ink. I cut the
Ivy Garden Background in white and glued the corner ivy pieces on to this piece, I cut the circle in the centre and then added mounting foam to the back and added it in a diamond orientation to the background. I recessed the
Ivy Garden into the centre with a
Lilac card backing. I cut the smaller centre die and added it with foam, then seated the
Thank you sentiment in the middle. I inked it to match and added a black shadow. I made a 3D flower using the stamped
Shaded Passion Flower stamps and cut them out. Inked them and added glitter once I formed and shaped the flower. I seated them on a
satin bow and added white leaves around it. White mats and layers were used to complete the card. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8" in size.
The 2018 Festive die release begins here tomorrow morning at 6am. I am very excited to share the collection with you so I hope you can join us back here then! All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue. An early morning question - Can you describe a sample/card as glamourious ? That was my first reaction as it loaded, the colour choice and mix of dies are absolutely gorgeous Sue. Even though the majority of your samples on this blog are adorable you can only imagin just how unbelievable they are in true life. A stunning glamourious start to the day thank you.

It could be a trick of the lighting, but the interplay of blue and lilac on this card is lovely. The shaping, stamping and glittering make the Passion Flowers so interesting. but a black flower Is higher fashion than I could go.

Only you could get me excited about Christmas when we are still in June Sue. I will not give anything away to those admirably patient people who avoid taking a sneak peak at your new dies - but I know we are in for a humdinger of a launch. Your new dies really are spectacular x
So with that in mind the order of the day is to keep my excitement levels to a minimum in order to avoid self combustion x
