Finishing Touches

Hello and welcome back!  Last but certainly not least is the Exquisite Poppy die set.  Shown here in all it's glory, this flower is sure to be the hit of all your cards and projects!  You saw it during the last post as well and may not have even realised that was the same die!  It looks fabulous cut out of "poppy" colours or done in a more whimsical manner.  You will see this flower in so many ways in the coming weeks!  There is a wide range of sizes, allowing you to make six different sized flowers with the same set!  For the last time, I will ask you to leave a comment to be included in the drawing.  I will announce the winners in an afternoon post on Wednesday the 20th of April so don't forget to check back and see if you are among the lucky names drawn!  I do hope that you have enjoyed the release and seeing some sneak peeks at a few of the samples.  There will be many more to come, I promise!  All for now, Sue x

Wonderful die. Looks so different when you make the poppy with it. Just outstanding. Have enjoyed the new launch very much and good luck to everyone.

Hi Sue

Exquisite... The poppy certainly is and so is the whole collection. Not one there at all I don't like. Back to the poppy though, this could be a primrose or with some snippy a dog rose and I'm sure there are a dozen other possibilities at least. I don't have many flower dies, or rather I don't have as many as I'd like lol so I go for things that I can make look like as many types of flower as I can so this would make the cut on that front too as well as being incredibly pretty.

Sue, congratulations. This is as stunning collection. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in wanting all of them. This is obviously before we consider any gorgeous stamps or embossing folders. Some serious decisions to make!!!

To all the lovely ladies and gents on the blog I'm sorry I've not read all your comments today, a real sleepy one and no crafty stuff which is quite a shame on such a sunny day but no migraine today so a success in my book! I'll toddle (can one toddle in a wheelchair? We'll find out!) off to bed and wait for the start of a new week as I really do need a good nights sleep. Cleaner here in the morning which often results in a sleepy afternoon so if I don't my stop by tomorrow please don't be concerned.

Sending special big hugs to Tina and to June and hugs to every single one of you. Have lots and lots of extra ones for anyone who needs a bit of TLC. Billy sends paw hugs to Lynda, Tina and all of the crafty pets around planet craft. Wishing you all a beautiful, happy new week with lots of time for crafty indulgences,

Dear Sue. I do not tend to comment on blogs and especially when a prize is on offer, as it can be seen as unfair. However, I just had to thank you for the new collection. It is absolutely stunning and I am hoping to buy several as finances allow. I especially love the poppy die, which will be my first purchase, as it is beautiful. Your flower dies are the most used dies in my collection.
Many thanks and best wishes to you.

Hi Sue and all Wilsonettes, I am just catching up following my operation, I know I am probably too late for the compo but there was nothing I could do about that. Well you have saved one of the best for last haven't you, I am a real succour for poppies, I remember seeing the most beautiful display at the Tower of London and what that represented, so poppies always have a special place in my heart, my parents, aunts and uncles and grandparents were all in the first and second world wars and I have loads of memorabilia from when my Dad was on a hospital ship bringing back wounded American soldiers from the Anzio beaches when the ship was bombed and torpedoed, Dad was lucky enough to get out and saved quite a few people in doing so, got a mentioned in despatches and oak leaf for that, I am so proud of him. So this for me is the most wonderful Poppy die I have ever seen, I want to see the video of this one please Sue.

Fantastic die Sue I love it.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue
I think these are a bit like the cornflower dies in that you need to see them made. Bit like a dress that looks nothing on the hanger. But boy oh boy, just like the cornflower, they are stunning and I can see the two mixed together in red and blue like a cornfield. These are gorgeous flowers that would look good in any colour.
