Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a beautiful card today, will watch video when hubby gets up, looking forward to seeing this one.

Unfortunately I will not be able to get to Kettering as it is too far for me to travel, also I have an operation on the 29th June so would not have been able to go, but I KNOW that it is going to be a great success - oh I wished I was younger -, have a great time everyone.

Seen your news Christmas 2015 dies Sue and they are gorgeous, absolutely love the sentiments and the Angels has got to be a must, oh you people at Kettering are in for a real treat.

Enjoy Saturday everyone, stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Stunner is definitely the word Sue. This morning's gift is definitely up there on top of the list. I love the technique of stained glass but have only tried it out on small scraps of card and never had the courage to do it on an actual gift. I will gather all my strength and give it a real go as I have a bday gift to do for a friend who would really appreciate this technique.

Can you please just clear my mind Sue - are your Seasonal Dies last year's launch or are they completely new?

Congratulations Izzy - how lucky are you to receive a beautiful piece of art from Sue.

Well it's another glorious day here so I think it will be out in the garden to see just how far I can get dead heading some roses.

To all in pain or suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Hi Sue,

Well yet another stunner form the stupendous Sue. Loving it.

Will watch the video later on, the dreaded word 'housework' rears its ugly head again. I suffered an extreme bout of lethargy halfway through it yesterday so it was rest required for the afternoon, must be finished today so I can have a day crafting tomorrow. After effects of the radiotherapy last year.

However you plan to spend your weekend, stay safe, be happy and love your family.

Good morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
Now i know this is glittered under the acetate but the colour scheme and design is fantastic for some of those harder to please people in our lives Sue and it suits their ideal of keeping glitter contained as they hate getting it on their clothes or selfs for that matter, can't understand that idea personally not knowing a day not to have been glittered even in the smallest fashion. It is a beautiful card Sue and thank you for showing us how to do it again as there is new people taking up paper crafting all the time and discovering what we have already been so fortunate to find...our wonderful Sue.
Well done Izzy on winning this weeks stunner and i hope that it shines down on you giving you lots of inspiration to keep up your wonderful talent.
Well folks it is raining here at Glenochil so it is the Costa del soak today with my poor hills in a mood because they are not getting to shine and having to put up with the clouds having a rest on their way past in the slow, dragging of the puffs sort of a way. I did try and tell them that it will give their faces a wash and let them show off their beauty at the next hint of sunshine, but they are still looking droopy and forlorn.
For the last 4 years i have been on a committee at the school for the health and well being of the children as the parent rep. Yesterday was the last time that i was meeting before the summer holidays and my last but oh i was so taken away. They had organised a wee buffet for me and gave me a beautiful bunch of flowers and a cake(for boy wonder you realise). JAM the headmistress had stayed back in order to make a speech and give them to me, talk about taken aback. Rory was the first ASD child they had ever had at the school but also the first she had ever had under her control. Rory has taught a lot of people new skills that they never knew they had as well as bringing a lot of laughter and antics to the preceedings as well and some how i don't think they will forget my boy in a hurry. I have had to get for ALL his ladies jewellery so that he can give them it next week when he leaves. I just have the men to sort out now which might be a tad more difficult but i will try and get something suitable for them and with that i am just going to say thank goodness that is him finished with multiply teachers as he leaves me skint or in Scots stoney broke and pairish damned, but for all that i am going to miss all the characters of the school as i think i have almost been there as often as Rory, anyway onwards and upwards.
Have a great weekend everyone and here's hoping that you are having a lovely day wherever you are.
Sending hugs to all the wonderful Wilsonette angels that keep me going,
with love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

Good morning Sue,

What a treat to have another demo today and what a little stunner it is. I bought this noble die last month and it is just so versatile, I love the stained glass effect and your flowers are so life like so I will really enjoy watching this a little later on today.
I didn't get any crafting done yesterday. I took my little Bengal out for a walk....yes, on a lead....and he got a bit exuberant and broke free.
I spent the next two hours trying to coax him home- we live in the centre of Stirling sandwiched between two busy roads so I was literally having kittens myself trying to keep him away from the traffic! He eventually tired himself out and Me! and came home so proud of his bravery and adventure. I have lost two cats in traffic accidents and I am super scared of it happening again, hence the lead.
Anyway, hopefully today I will have more luck in my resolve to play with my new Christmas dies. I have seen your new range Sue and they are stunning, I just wish that I lived a little closer to Kettering, it would be a dream of mine to meet you in person.
Congratulations to Izzy you lucky Wilsonette you, it is the dream of each of us to win a Sue original and I hope that it gives you copious amounts of pleasure and inspiration.

Crafty hugs and kisses

Hi Sue,
oh it's miserable wet and cold here at the moment - hope it passes like the weather man said it would.

Your card is wonderful, I remember a few years ago doing a stained glass effect using peel off nativity scenes on acetate and coloured on the back with felt tip pens - how things have changed since then.

I tend not to go to craft events as I seem to attract other peoples elbows and get really fed up. Much rather watch you on TV then I can record too and I can look back as many times as I need.

Hellooooo Sue and the Wilsonettes! I love this technique Sue! The finished product is beautiful! I did watch your video again because it's been a while since I did it and what can I say? Even if it does take a few hours/overnight to dry, it is still well worth creating in whatever colours you want. I did the Calabria die from your Italian collection (3 times) and it's stunning! I've done a gold and dark blue, a white and dark blue and a red, green, white and orange/copper. Amazing! "Thank you Sue", especially for the reminder! Can you imagine on a Christmas theme? "Wow!" Congratulations Izzy on winning the Wednesday giveaway! If you think it's beautiful wait until you see it in real life! Even more so! xx Eeeee eck, glad you managed to get Bengal Lorraine, phew! You can feel your relief! Norah, oh wow, what a wonderful surprise for you! I always say someone is in your life for a reason and obviously with Rory (and you!). They have all been blessed with a wonderful mentor who has made such a difference in their lives. A little ray of sunshine he is...which is wonderful xx Sending love and hugs to you Sue, your mum, family and to all our Wilsonettes who are in need xx Take care everyone xx Love Karen xx

Hi Sue,
Firstly I have to confess that I haven't watched the video yet! Will do that later in peace and quiet. However the card is a real stunner and I'm looking forward to watching this technique again. We, or maybe just, I forget to use techniques we have learned before and get into a rut for a while. Lovely colours too!
Your new dies are just gorgeous!! Can't wait to see what you do with them!
Kettering is too far away for me too but I am sure all the ladies who are able to go will have a wonderful time.
I'm with Maureen , we're fortunate to have you here twice a week and sometimes more often than that!
Izzy - many congratulations! I'm sure the lovely card will inspire you!
Norah - our very own Nanny PcPhee - you deserved that lovely treat yesterday. You work so hard fo help all the children.
Anne - good to have you back, I missed you .mpleased it was just internet problems .
Have a good weekend everyone,
Father's Day tomorrow so will be busy here.

Hi Sue

I Iove this technique. I brought the Italian die you did it with for that reason! I can see some C********s cards with this background this year! I will comment further on your latest release as and when but let's say just for now I'm impressed. I normally wait but an email popped up with almost all of them on it, hard to miss it!

Oh boy how I wish I still drove... Kettering a couple of hours away but I'd been worth it! I hope all attendees have a terrific time.

Norah, what an amazing son you have. I'm sure the staff will miss him and you lots xxx

Deb Curtis, thank you xxx

I'm back on semi solid food today... hooray! Especially as Mr W has his respite today so I have chocolate brought round by my brother for a special treat- another reason to love purple lol As its a warm day the bar is nice and soft. A little better day today, had a couple of enforced 'power naps' and its 7:15pm, I'm still awake and recording Labrynth -anyone born in the 70s will know this film! Ready to watch soon as I'm done here, and in case I doze off. A delightful mix of David Bowie, Jim Henson and Brian Froud (probably my favourite artist, he did the concept art for the film, all the creatures etc). A quiet dog thanks to my brother taking him on an hour long walk too= perfect! Sometimes it pays to be laid out on the sofa :-D

Hope all you Wilsonettes and Sue have as nice an evening as I will have, hugs to all of you with lots extra if they're needed,

T x

Hi Sue
I have been a missing link for a while, my 'baby' Jessica turned 16 on the 7th and has just finished her GCSE's and last night she had her prom I so wish I could show you the photos my little girl all grown up how did that happen. I have tried to pop in to look now and then but it has been hectic to say the least and these last few weeks seen to have flown by.
I will wish a Happy Birthday to anyone who's birthday I have missed and Happy Anniversary to any of those I have missed I did see a comment that Norah has joined the Nanna club congratulations to all the family my youngest Grandaughter Maddie is 4 months now.
Congratulations to Izzy on winning the Wednesday card and to everyone who has won the comments game and cards in the past, hopefully now I have school and prom out of the way I should have some 'me' time.
I have washed my last school uniform I have been doing them for 28 years, 2 of my Grandsons start senior school this September it only seems like yesterday they where born.
I tried to watch the video earlier but my computer was not playing nice so will try again later, todays card is stunning I have yet to see your new collection but I know it will be stunning maybe I might even get to buy some now the prom expense is over.
Hope you have had a fun time with your Mom and enjoy your workshop I live too far to come.
Crafting is a bit tricky at the moment as after my surgery in December I now have complex regional pain syndrome which is hindering my crafting but I will find away to make a start on some simple Christmas cards, good job I did lots of die cutting last Christmas.
Well I shall go for now and internet willing will be back tomorrow

Hi Sue, sorry so late today, I have been very busy and am more than ready for my bed but had to come on to watch the video. I love this beautiful card, it is gorgeous. I enjoy doing the stained glass technique, there is something magical about it when you first turn it over after drying. Instead of a white blobby mess there is that gorgeous coloured sparkle that makes each card so special.

Congratulations Izzy on being the Wednesday Winner, I know you will appreciate it.
