Hi bloggers! Welcome back to the second weekly card giveaway! Leave a comment on today's post if you would like to be in the drawing. I will announce the winner on Saturday's post. Today's card is a Heartfelt Creations card from the samples of my CHA show in July. I stamped my sentiment in black archival ink at the bottom of a piece of coconut white card. I matted this piece with a thin Rich Red card mat. I used the Grand Squares to cut a large white frame. Using another one of the dies in the set, I simply embossed a decorative line around the frame edge. I added mounting foam to the back of the frame to raise it for dimension and attached it to a piece of white card. Next I cut about a dozen of the leafy sprig from the Ornamental Add On set in white card. I glued them into place in a circular fashion to form a wreath shape within the frame. I allowed some of the leaf pieces to fall over the edge of the frame. As finishing touches, I used the Berry Red PVA Glue to add red holly berries to the wreath. Around the sentiment, I scattered small flatback pearls as accents. I finished the card with my signature double white pierced mat layers. This is a really easy, but elegant Christmas card you can make for the upcoming season. Hope you like it! Don't forget to leave a comment if you would like a chance to win it! Finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
