White On White and a Cutie Pie

Hi everyone,  Finally a few stolen moments to update my blog.  It has been a hectic past week and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down anytime soon with our Ally Pally show just looming around the corner.  I had been asked by several people to post my white wedding card from the last shows.  Here it is for you.  It was one of my favs from the shows too.  Now if I just had a wedding to go to so it would go to good use!  I used the florish embossing folder in the background and the flowers were made using either the Anemone dies,  the Daisy  dies, the Floral Lace border or the Ironworks border.  The Focal sentiment dies were the Picot edge circles, alternated with the Ironwork accents.  Just so much fun stuff on it, I love all the business (as in busy-ness) to it!  I just had to finish off the edges with the Cosmic Shimmer Pearl PVA glue.  I just LOVE that stuff, it is so easy to use.
I was working all weekend, but I did get some time to finally meet my new Granddaughter, Leah.  Isn't she a sweetheart!  I hope Sam doesn't mind me showing her off on the blog, but she is just so darn cute!  She is such a good baby too.  She slept all the way through the night, which at six weeks is not that common (as I recall from 25 years ago when mine looked like that!)I just love the little hand up by her face!

Here she is posing for the camera with her little mischievious smile.  Can't you just seeing her breaking hearts already!
I know, I know, I'm a gushing Grandma, huh?!  I can't wait until the next time I get to play with her all weekend (then send her back home with Sam).  Isn't being the Grandma great?!!!  I was made for this role!  All for now, Grandma Sue x

Your granddaughter is gorgeous!!! and your card is beautiful, I love the white on white, very classy. Your pick of the week (or was it day?) shows were great, you are so easy to watch and your cards are always fantastic, can they order more stock for the next one as I record your shows while I'm working and something has always sold out before I get to watch, also if they sell that fast it shows they need more, we may get to see more of your prep'd card demo's that way!!! Hi sue loved the show my dies arrived on Friday so perfect for a play over the weekend, it was fun.
Your granddaughter is beautiful.
Can i ask if it would be possible to have some embossing folders that are just a bit smaller than A4?
I make a lot of these cards and i can embossed a full piece of card even using your patching idea.
Can wait to see what is next from spellbinders i missed the a few so would love to see some of them again.
Keep up the good work and hope your parents are keeping well.

freedom99 said...

Should say can't embossed a full A4 sheet.lol

Hi Sue what a sweet little angel, she is going to have such fun crafting with you and mum when she gets older. The card is gorgeous and I am planning to make one similar for next year as we have at last a wedding in the family. More people should get married so I can make wonderful cards. I love as you do to use my spellbinders, I can't manage withouth them now. I like to keep the colours simple, say no more than three or preferably just two or even one colour, the spellbinders just look great whatever you do with them. So look forward to seeing your work. many thanks

I've just received the spellbinders decorative edges,so here's to some great fun experimenting with them! Thank you for your website so that we can look at your cards again.
