Funny Farm Samples

Hi everyone,  I just wanted to post a couple more cards from todays show while I thinking about it.  There was supposed to be two shows today at 11am and 4pm but they cancelled the 4pm show.  Sorry about that if you were waiting to see it, but their call, not mine.  I had hoped to show you another fun idea with the embossing folders, but I will hold on to it until another show (how's that for suspense!).
The top card is my "recycled" card where the bow is made from a mesh bag that clementines were in and the hay is from some packing out of a Christmas hamper we received.  The bottom card was one that I was going to demo on the 4pm show so I thought I give it an appearance since it missed it's moment in the sun, so to speak.  The farmer boy is usually holding a pitchfork, but I was going to show how you can change that.  So now he is holding a sunflower for his sweety!
I promise to get a new picture up for the brand new blog candy contest before the week is up.  It has been a bit crazy for the past few weeks so I am running a bit behind schedule at the moment.  Next week, too, I am off to California for the winter CHA wholesale Craft show.  I have made a resolution to take loads of pictures this year so I can post them on my blog. (Let's see how I do with this one! LOL).
All for now, Sue x

I wish C & C would not change things at the last minute. It is so annoying when you are looking forward to a show and even more annoying for you when you have planned one.

Love the mesh bag bow!

Well, at least I got to enjoy the 11am show. Good for you recycling, apparently it's now called 'upcycling'??? Whatever, I'm all for using up what I can and that card shows the clementine bow off beautifully. I'm sooooo envious of you going to the CHA show, have been keeping an eye out for some of the new goodies to come our way.x

I really enjoyed the morning show and really disappointed the afternoon show was cancelled, they are always doing that. Loved your cards today, you are so clever. I hope we get to see your hinted at show about ribbons, yours are always divine. xxx

Love the idea with recycling the clementines bag. One of my New Year's resolutions is to use up some of my stash - so you're not helping with telling me how I can use other things around the house, not in my stash!!! I have to get rid of some of it so I can make room for anything new that I buy!

Love the cards Sue, they’re very earthy especially the Hessian one. The show was great and the demos, what a pity re the 4 pm show, I was really looking forward to that.

Nice recycling ideas. I guess the silver lining to the show being cancelled is you can use it next time instead of having to come up with something else. Think of it as a surprise holiday. :)

Loved the 11am show and the samples where - wow / STUNNING - love the net bag and the sample from what would have been on the 4pm show . I have to say I was sad when looking up on sky+ for the 4pm when having an evening to myself and it wasn`t there - thought it was me but this explains it. I hope you get to do the show soon - HAve fun at the CHA and looking forward to the photos

As if interrupting you every few seconds isn't enough, to then cancel your second show -madness! However, great show Sue - we can't get enough of you! Lovely samples and demos as ever.
Best wishes

Hello
I was in the middle of ordering something off the items list for the 4pm show when the programme details were removed. I called and emailed to complain as I was all ready to watch it online. I did manage to order the double sided papers before they withdrew the show, though! Look forward to next one.
Best regards
Vee

What an awesome idea to use the mesh from the clementines. Why don´t we think a lot more on using things, we else would just throw out? You´ve just made me think of a couple other things now, that I´m going to try. I´ll show you, if it works as I hope, it will. Both cards looks really awesome, and I love the rustic look. That will be really great on a mans card.

Enjoyed the show as I always do, thanks for the explanation about the second show, I had called my Sky + box a few names as i thought it had failed to record. Your shows are always great and make me want to craft straight away, but at the moment my health problems won't let, so it great that you share your ideas. Bee

I was happy to catch a repeat of the show on 36 on my computer - it is a bit hit and miss what shows I can catch, so I was pleased to see this one. There is always something that you do that gives me an idea for one or two cards. Enjoy the CHA - would love to go myself, can you fit me in your suitcase!
