Hope Your Day Is Amazing

Hello bloggers!  I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Stripes Embossing folder.  I sponged Spun Sugar distress ink around the edges.  Next I cut the Button Flower Floral Panel die in white three times.  I backed it with a panel of blue and pink Pearl Tints that I allowed to dry thoroughly.  I inked just the flowers on the second panel and nipped them out then glued them on to the original white panel.  I cut the frame in white and stacked the floral panel pieces and mounted it horizontally across the card.I inked the flowers on the third panel and cut them away from the frame and used them on the top of the card as accents around the sentiment.  I cut the Hope Your Day Is Amazing sentiment in black and glued it to the top of the card.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now,  Sue x

Heartfelt Thanks

Hello bloggers!  Here's another clean and simple styled card using the latest March release dies.  I cut the foliage die from the Moonflower Floral Panel die set.  I cut it in black card and then backed it with a piece of acetate that I used Pearl Tints on and allowed to dry thoroughly.  I swirled the yellow, pink and blue Pearl Tints across the acetate.  I cut the outer frame in black, but added a thin white frame to lift it slightly.  I embossed a piece of white card with the Heart Strings embossing folder, then seated the floral panel using mounting foam to the left side of the card.  I cut the Heartfelt Thanks sentiment in black and glued it to a Decorative Flag die cut in white.  I attached it off the side of the floral panel and added two small black butterflies as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4"  in size.

I will be posting the winning names from the March blog launch this afternoon so please pop back by to see if your name is on the list!  All for now, Sue x

Make A Wish

Hello crafters!  how about this sweet birthday card for today's offering!  I started with a piece of the blue striped paper from the Dots 'N Stripes Paper Pad as the background.  I used the Hexagon Aperture and cut into it, then added mounting foam to the back of it.  I attached it to a piece of white card as a backing.  Using the Birthday Accessories set, I added the cake, balloon, cupcakes, party hat and present to the various apertures in shade of pink.  I added a little fluffy stuff to the cake as an accent.  I cut the Make A Wish sentiment for the middle aperture.  I added a square white frame to the top of it using the Double Stitched Squares, then seated it on a Scalloped Squares piece for added detail.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  7 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Just Because

Hello crafters!  Here's another sample from the March release, I just love the brilliant blue background!  I started with a piece of pixie Powdered card using Midnight Blue and Purple Violet powders on it.  I used the Button Flower Floral Panels and cut the two side panels into the card using the leafy panel.  I added a white vellum backing to them.  I cut the centre panel once out of white card, once out of black card and once out of the leftover pixied powdered card.  I nipped the flowers out of the blue panel and glued them on top of the white panel.  I added an offset black panel to it as a shadow.  I cut the outer frame from the set out of both white and black and offset the black one as a shadow.  I layered up the Button Flower panel with the frame then added it to the centre of the card with mounting foam.  I cut the Just Because sentiment in black twice and stacked them, then glued it in the upper right corner.  I added three small white butterflies as accents.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Beach Sunset Stained Glass

Good Sunday morning all!  I hope you enjoyed the rather quick March die release from the past few days!  Today's offering is the Beach Sunset Stained Glass.  I started by cutting the Bubbles Background out of black card.  I backed it with a piece of white vellum.  I cut the centre ring of the die in white and used it as the backing for the main element.  I cut the Beach Sunset die in black and added a backing made from Burnt Orange and Lava Red Pixie Powders.  I layered up the pieces and attached them with mounting foam to the middle of the card.  I cut a multi-layered frame using the Double Stitched Squares.  I did a black base layer and a wider white frame on top.  I added it with foam over the background.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x 7" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Mini Cosmos

Hello bloggers!  This is the final post of the March release, but it's a cutie! From our Finishing Touches collection, introducing the Mini Cosmos die set!  This set has six dies in total but each of the dies has multiple flowers or leaves on it.  There are three mini sizes of flowers that can be used by themselves or layered up to create small dimensional flowers.  There are also three different sized leaves to use with the flowers if desired.  These are perfect additions to add to the foliage panels that come in the Floral Panel die sets too!  I just love these!  If you do too, add your comment on this post!  Don't forget to check back on the 23rd to see if your name is on the list!  This is the last of the march die release, but I hope you have enjoyed it!  All for now, Sue x

Noble Vintage Label

Hello bloggers!  The final post of the day belongs to the Noble Vintage Label die set.  There are seven Noble dies in this set to use.  They make equally as lovely focal elements as they do being used in other ways (you will see more of that in the weeks to come).  Each of the nested dies has a large circle surrounding the edges for added detail and it does add to that vintage feel of these dies.  Don't forget to put your comment on this post if this set is singing to you!  We have one final post for this release tomorrow morning, here on the blog at 6am.  All for now,  Sue x

Hope Your Day Is Amazing

Hello there my crafty friends!  The last of the mini expressions is the Hope Your Day Is Amazing sentiment.  This one is a bit larger than the others but it gives you different options for it's use too.  Pop your name in the comments section and it might just make it's way home with you, you never know!  It's always fun to win something though, even if it is a sentiment die!  We have one final post today and it will be here at 6pm.  All for now. Sue x
