Amazing Friend

Good Sunday morning all!  I thought I would share another card I made using some of the April die release.  It's a rather clean and simple card, but I liked it!  I have been playing with the new Watercolour inks and I'm loving them!  I used Lime Sherbert and Jade Sparkle Pearlescent Watercolour inks here randomly on the card and then spritzed lightly with water to spread them a bit more.  These do need a bit of time to dry though as they have been designed to have a long open time so you can move them around.  Once dry, I stamped the corner with the Elemental Swirl stamp in black.  From the Bold Shadowed Friend Die/Stamp Combo set,  I stamped the sentiment "Amazing" and mounted it just above where I cut and added the word Friend to the card.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  9"  in size.   All for now,  Sue x

Button Flower

Hello there my crafty friends!  We have come to the last post of the April blog launch.  I like to end with the dies from the Finishing Touches category so introducing the Button Flower die set.  This set has 15 dies in it and allows you to create beautiful layered flowers (as you may have noticed on some samples during the launch) as well as full stemmed flowers and buds as shown here.  It's a great set too if you like smaller sized flowers.  Go ahead and leave a comment on this post, but be sure to check back on the afternoon of the 22nd to see if your name is on the winner's list!  I hope you have enjoyed the launch.  All for now, Sue x

Butterfly Delights

Hi crafters!  Next up is our new Butterfly Delights die set.  Who doesn't love butterflies (as they are especially helpful to hide smudges and the like! LOL)  This set of twelve dies has been designed to look like a family with five different sizes of the same butterfly design.  The fact that they are all the same design also makes for a beautiful layered butterfly too!  If this set is calling your name, then please leave a comment on this post and you might just be the lucky one!  After all, someone is going to win it so it might as well be you! LOL  We have one final post that will be here at 12 noon  today to complete the April blog launch.  You may have noticed it on previous samples, but it is a beautiful die to use.  I hope you will pop back by here then to take a quick look.  All for now,  Sue x

Spring Roses and Daffodils Stampcuts

Hello bloggers!  Next up I am progressing to the new Stampcuts collection.    First up is the new Spring Roses and Daffodils Stampcuts.  Isn't she a beauty!  Such a simple card, but the Stampcuts really say it all!  Oh and just to mention, you are also getting a sneaky peek at some of the new embossing folders that are also releasing this month!  This Stampcut design is really lovely as you can pull out elements and make them more 3D too if you like (as I have done here!) as it really lends itself to that technique.  I probably don't have to remind you, but I will! LOL Leave your comment on this post.  Someone will win it so it might as well be you, right?  How's that for the start of the second day?  What do you think so far?  Any firm favourites yet?  I will return at noon for the next instalment of the blog launch.  All for now. Sue x

Hello Bold Shadowed Sentiment Die/Stamp Combo

Hi bloggers!  Welcome back!  The third die we are showcasing is the Hello Bold Shadowed Sentiment Die/Stamp Combo.  One of my favourite things about this collection is how easy they are to make beautiful cards with as they just have an simple, elegant look about them.  The Hello set is so useful for making and sending those cards that don't necessarily need a special reason to send (or, as I like to say, the best kind of cards there are in my opinion!)  The coordinating stamp set has some beautiful sentiments to go with the die as well!  Don't forget to leave your comment on this post and let me know what you think of this collection so far, I would love to know!  We have one final post coming your way tonight at 6pm.  All for now. Sue x

Starting with out new line of Bold Shadowed Sentiments, we are showcasing the Friend die/stamp combo first.  Shown here, you can see how beautiful this font is with a lovely flourish to the front and back of the word.  The coordinating stamp set gives you all the elements to make a lovely card to send to a dear friend.  If this one gets your craftiness running, then just leave a comment on this post and you will be entered into the drawing to perhaps win this set.  I will return at 12 noon for the second post of the day.  Hope to see you back here then.  All for now, Sue x

Retail Therapy

Hello bloggers!   How about this fun retail therapy card! LOL  I started with a piece of white card and used the Beyond Blue Pixie Sparkles all over it then spritzed it with water.  After it was thoroughly dried, I used the Slimline Essential Frames to cut a large frame.  Next I used the Slimline Decorative Rectangle Trio Aperture and cut it out of white card.  I used the centre fall away from the Pixie Sparkle frame and glued it behind.  I added the frame with mounting foam over the aperture trio.  Next I used the Retail Therapy die set and cut two shoes out of black gloss card and glued them in the top opening.  I cut two nail polishes and a lipstick and glued them into the bottom frame.  I cut the retail therapy sentiment out of white and added a black shadow.  I glued that into the centre then added small versions of perfume bottles and a shoe underneath.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5"  x  9 1/4"  in size.

We are starting the April die release blog launch tomorrow morning just to let you know!  There are eleven dies in this release including some new Stampcut designs!  Hope to see you bright and early tomorrow!   All for now, Sue x
