Zoo Animals

Hello bloggers and welcome back!  We had the Farm Animals early, now we are showcasing the Zoo Animals die set!  These dies have also been designed so they coordinate well with the Farm Animals as well as many of the earlier baby themed dies.  You can see they match well together and you may even spot the tiger in this sample from a set we released a few years ago!  I just think they make such cute baby themed cards!  Leave your comment on this post and I will see you back here on the blog at 6pm for the final post of the day.  All for now, Sue x

Farm Animals

Hello crafters!  We are still in full baby mode with this next set: Farm Animals.  There are eight dies in this set which includes five different animals (pig, cow, horse, donkey and chicken) as well as three smaller dies to add accents to the animals as well as a tail for the chicken to make it into a rooster if desired.  These have been done in the same fashion as animals from previous sets with the cute stitching so they can easily be mixed and matched and used together too.  You can add the extra accents on or use them plain as I have done in the sample shown here.  This post just needs your comment to get you entered into the drawings to win some dies!  I will be back around here at 3pm with the next set from this collection.  All for now. Sue x

A Sweet Miracle

Hello bloggers!  Welcome to day number three of the April blog launch. We are continuing on with the baby themed dies.  Next up is the first of the mini expressions;  A Sweet Miracle.  This is a great sentiment for any new baby card and it works great being long and thin so it is an easy fit to either the top, middle or lower portion of your cards!  The phrase has been done in a script and block font for a nice mixture, giving the phrase a modern feel while still being easily readable too!  I know it is only a small die, but don't forgot about the bigger picture, someone will win an entire set of all eighteen dies just by leaving a comment on any blog post.  Of course, you will also be entered into the drawing to win this one itself too, so double the chances to win!  I will be back at noon for the next post.  All for now,
Sue x

New Born Sentiments

Hi crafters!  More Baby themed dies this post!  We are showcasing the Newborn Sentiments die set during this post.  The idea here is mixing and matching the sentiments in the set to create fabulous sentiments for your cards or projects.   The set contains the larger, bold word "BABY" and many other smaller words to go with it.  Shown here on this sample, I have used the smaller hello die to go with the bold Baby die.  There are many other phrases that can be put together using the word dies from this set.  I think this set will definitely have usefulness in your craft stash!  There are eight dies in the set so loads of different combinations can be made with these.  Leave a comment if this is one you might like to add to your crafty arsenal!  This is the end of day two, but I will be back at 6am right here for the start of day three!  All for now. Sue x

Noah's Ark

Hello bloggers!  We are switching gears now to showcase our latest Baby Collection from Our Necessities range.  Introducing the Noah's Ark die set.  Now I know that I am taking liberties here and that the animals should go "two by two" but I just felt it was too congested looking.  However that is your choice to make, but I think it looks adorable with the different animals by themselves.  The set not only has a cute ark, but it also comes with a roof panel (which can also be used as waves), a dove and sprig, bunting that spells out Baby, a congratulations phrase and more for a whopping twelve dies in the set.   If this one is something that you would like to add to your craft stash, just leave a comment here so you can be entered into the die drawing to win this set.   Just leave a comment and you will be entered in to the drawing to win this adorable set.  The final post of the day will be here at 6pm.  Look forward to seeing you then!

Martha Edger

Hello there my crafty friends!  Next up on the release is the Martha Edger set.  There are eight dies in this set and what fun you can have with these creating interesting card looks!  Shown here, I have used one of the decorative dies in the set to create a frame, so you can see that the edgers can easily be used on their own without the coordinating background dies.  What do you think of this set?  If you like it, then just leave me a comment on this post.  You never know, you might be the lucky one to win it!  I will be back at 3pm with more of the release, but we are switching gears to a different theme then.  Hope to see you back here then!  All for now, Sue x

Martha

Hi bloggers!  We are starting out day two with the nest of the Endless Options collection: the Martha Background.  The Martha Background has a very lacy like detail on the edges and centre that is a real show stopper for your cards and projects!
I just love the way this die carries the entire card on it's own or you can add in the matching edgers for even more excitement too!  If this one tickles your fancy, just leave a comment on this post.  I have also added the Pinterest button to the bottom of each post so feel free to Pin the sample cards or even the die packaging to save for later inspiration.  The next post is on it's way to you at 12 noon.  I hope to see you back here then.  All for now. Sue x

Paulette Edgers

Hello crafters!  Yes,  you guessed it, it's the Paulette Edgers!  This lovely set comes with
nine dies for you to use by themselves or in conjunction with the Paulette Background as I have done here.  Most notably, I have used the edgers to create the piece for my sentiment, giving it a pretty presentation across the centre of the card.  The edgers were also used to create white pieces to go behind sections of the background to add highlights.  The possibilities are truly endless when it comes to how you can use these sets.  I just have to say what fun they are to use too!  Please leave a comment on this post for the chance of winning it or even the secondary chance of winning all 18 dies in the release!  We will be starting up again here tomorrow morning at 6am.  I hope that you will be able to join me back here then!  All for now, Sue x

Paulette

Hello again!   Next up we have the Paulette Background die.  As with all of my backgrounds, these dies do not have an outside cut edge so you can easily decide what size border you would like on your card.  As shown here, I have added a wider side border and no border on the top and bottom of the card.  There is plenty of detail on this one to use the background by itself to make a gorgeous card.  Add a sentiment, a couple of flowers and Bob's your uncle!  If this set appeals to you, then just leave a comment on this post.  There is one last post for today and that will be online at 6pm.  I am pretty certain you can guess what it is going to be too, can't you? LOL    All for now. Sue x

Delilah Edgers

Hi bloggers!  You have just seen the Delilah Background so I would like to introduce it's mate; the Delilah Edgers.  There are 8 useful dies in the set that can be used with or without the matching background.  It is what I like to describe as 1 + 1 = 3  or in other words, you can use the one die set or the other die set, but together you have something that is greater than just the sum of it's parts, hence the 3!  Shown here, I used the single edge that mirrors the shape to cut the two white sides and then added one of the decorative edgers cut in white to add accents to the middle of the card.  Please leave you comment on this post to be entered into the double drawings.  The next post will be here at 3pm today.  All for now, Sue x

April 2020 Die Blog Launch/ Endless Options

Hello bloggers!  I am hoping that the April blog launch will bring a smile to your face and brighten your day.  I am sure that you know the drill by now, but in case you didn't read the message on the blog yesterday, not only am I giving away a set of each of the dies that you have a chance to win by leaving a comment on the posts, but I am also giving away an entire set of all eighteen dies to one lucky winner for this blog launch as well!  I will post the list of winners on the blog on April 15th.  Don't forget to leave your name on your post and make it memorable so that you know it was your name drawn out!  Add your surname initial or the city you live in or even make it a funny alias if you prefer, they all work fine!  We are starting out this launch with a new concept that I am very excited to share with you!  Introducing the Endless Options Collection and we are starting with the Delilah Background.  Now the idea behind these dies is that there is a background and a matching edger die set.  Both sets can be used independently of each other, but if you combine them together you will see that you have endless options you can do with them!  It will become more apparent as the blog launch continues how they work.  If you like this set, just leave a comment and pop back by at noon to see the matching edger set!  All for now. Sue x

Dream Circle

Hello crafters!  Today's card is an easy make, especially if you are just starting your crafting journey.   I started with a piece of  Iris card and cut three of the Joanie die in white and glued them horizontally across the card.  Next I cut the Dream Circle in both white and black.  I offset the black one behind to create a shadow.  I cut the backing for the Dream Circle out of Iris card and glued it together, then added it with foam to the centre of the card.  I used the extra flowers from the Magnolia Corner die set to create the floral element in the lower corner.  I cut the Magnolia Corner in white and nipped it apart to use the leaves as accents around the flowers.  The card was completed with white, Iris and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7" in size.

While I hope that all of you and your loved ones are doing okay amidst the Corona virus outbreak, I hope the blog can be a bit of a safe haven where you can come and enjoy for a few minutes and just get away from it all.  I have, however, had to make a decision recently and it has caused me a bit of back and forth about whether I should or shouldn't go forward with my April die release.  I did not want it to appear frivolous given the current situation, but I also don't want the virus to win and take everything from our daily lives that we know and love either!  After much soul searching, I have decided to go forward with the launch as planned.  I really feel that it might be the one thing that makes someone smile everyday and lift spirits for a few days and that alone is worth it!   Crafting has always been my solice and it is more important than ever with the stay at home self isolation many of us are facing now.  I am hoping that you will enjoy the launch and leave plenty of comments because there is one more thing that I am going to do during this launch that I have never done before!  As usual, I will be giving away a set of each of the dies in the launch but I am also going to be giving away one entire set of all of the dies to one lucky winner.  Every comment that is left on any post during the blog launch will be rolled into one drawing for the entire set, so in essence, you can possibly have eighteen chances to win the entire set if you leave a comment on every post!  I hope that will brighten anyone's day that is under quarantine.  Take that virus!  We are not going to let you beat us!  If you are with me on this, we will start tomorrow morning at 6am!  All for now, Sue x
