Just Because

Hello there my crafty friends!  It almost looks as if this picture was taken in black and white, but it is just a  silver and white card for today's offering.  I started by taping the Feathered mask to a piece of s;ate grey card  I used Silver Chrome Glitter Kiss through the mask and then set it aside to dry overnight.  Next I cut the background into three sections.  I added mounting foam to the backs of each section and added them to another piece of white card.  Next I cut the Claire die out of white card, using just the outermost die in the set.  I cut the die again, but this time I used the next size down in the set and used the decorative die with it.  I added a backing of the outside die cut and backed it out of silver Glitter Kiss.  I cut the smaller circle from the inside of the die and used silver Glitter Kiss around the edge of it.  I added it to the centre with foam.  I added the Just Because sentiment  it to the centre,  Next I made a small scrunched flower using the solid flowers from the Striped Nasturtiums.  I added silver glitter kiss to the tips of the petal and allowed it to dry well.  I seated it with leaves and Fern Fronds cut in white.  The card was completed with white and silver mats and layer.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  7 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Sending Love & Hugs

Hi crafters!  Here is a super quick card!  Grab your pixie powders for this one, specifically the emerald green, pale olive and  aqua lagoon.  Allow to dry well.  Next, cut the Feather leaf Frond six times (alternating each one) and glue them offset up the side of the card.  Trim them even with the edge of the card.  Cut the Sending Love & Hugs sentiment  twice and stack them, then glue to the lower corner of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now. They Say It's Your Birthday

Hello bloggers!  Here's one that might work great for those pesky guy cards you need to make!  I started with the Double Stitched Squares and made two wide frames and added mounting foam to stairstep them upwards.  I added a piece of white card to the centre as my base.  Using the Birthday Brewing and Three Cheers die sets, I cut the beer on draught and added it to the centre of the card.  I used a thin black marker to colour in the words and a silver paint pen to add some details.  On the second frame I added a beer bottle and glass of beer.  I used white glue to add "foam" accents.  On the top frame I added the pub sign and sentiment to the top part of the card.  I added the other part to the sentiment and the beer pitcher and mug to the lower part of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now. Hi crafters!  Need a quick card?  This is a great option!  I started with a piece of Silver Sparkle Alcohol ink card from Ranger.  I used Sunshine Yellow and Red Pepper alcohol ink on it.  Next, I embossed it using the Sublime Swirls embossing folder to add texture.  I added a thin black mat to it and added mounting foam to raise it.  I added it to a larger piece of white card that I added Iced Snow to the edge for a bit of sparkle.  I cut the Birthday Circle in both white and black and shadowed it, then glued it to the centre of the card.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7" in size.  All for now Sue x

Have A Magical Day

Hello there my crafty friends!  I started with a piece of coconut white card for this tall card.  I used the decorative die from the Joanie die set to cut into the card in the top and bottom of it.  I backed it with another piece of white card that I added a sticky adhesive sheet.  I peeled the backing off and attached it to the back of the background.  I coated the remaining exposed adhesive areas with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  Next I cut the largest die from the Joanie set out of Ocean card.  I cut the remaining part of the Joanie die in white and backed it in white, then added it to the Ocean backing.  I cut Joanie's Border in white and glued it across the centre of the background, then added the focal element with mounting foam to the centre of the card.    I used the extra flower die from the Magnolia Corner and made several flowers out of white card.  I coated them with glued, then Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz and added them around the focal element.  I used the leaves from the Magnolia Corner as accents.  I cut a double strip of pearls down the centre and glued them to the top and bottom edgers of the card.  I cut the Magical Day saying in both Ocean card and black card, and shadowed it then glued it to the centre of the card.  The card was completed with white and ocean mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are  6 3/4"  x  9 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

 Good Sunday morning all!  I started this card by covering a piece of card with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I peeled the backing off and coated it with Sunlight Speckle Gilding Flakes.  I used a piece of Rubit Scrubit pad to refine and remove the excess flakes.  Next I used the Brambled Rose embossing folder to emboss the background.  I used a Black Soot Distress Oxide ink pad over the top of the embossed design to bring out the pattern.  I coated it with clear embossing powder and heated it until it melted, this keeps the black from coming off on your fingers.  Next I cut the backing die from the Eliza die out of a piece of card that I had coated with Silver Chrome Glitter Kiss.  I cut the Eliza again in white and added the decorative version on top of the silver backing.  I cut the centre out of it and added mounting foam then added it to the centre of the card.  I cut a Pierced Flag die out of white and attached it across the centre of the frame.  Using a bit of extra silver card, I cut the Thank You sentiment and the Striped Nasturtium outline dies.  I cut the flower base in white then attached the outline dies over the top and assembled the flower.  I seated the flower on the end of the flag and added a couple of leaves and Fern Fronds as accents.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
