Just Because
Hello crafters! It's another clean and simple card for you today. I cut the Swirly Scrolls Background in white and backed it with another piece of white card. I cut the Pierced Layered Flowers out of Ocean card, then added white outlines to them and finished with teal centres. I arranged five flowers in the upper corner and added white leaves as accents. I cut the Just Because sentiment in teal and black. I used the black die cut as a shadow behind the teal words and glued it to the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

I love the swirly scrolls folder it makes a beautiful tactile deep emboss, I have quite a few A4 and 8x8 folders and I should update but 2 things stop me, I'm not making anywhere near as many cards as I did when I did market, and I kind of like the cleanliness of a plain card background especially if I'm adding lots of flowers/embellishments and a sentiment, if I'm doing a small card or a card with a 'tag' I may use a folder so it stands out and becomes the main pretty element along with the sentiment, but the inspiration you've shared with us today is just perfect, it's really pretty.
One question I'd like to ask and maybe you could answer in one of your posts in the future...
Do you use COCONUT WHITE or..
BRIGHT WHITE
When you use 'white' for your background cardstock ?
