Thought Of You Today

Hello crafters! I embossed a piece of white card with the Fanciful Flowers embossing folder for background texture.  Next I cut the Moonflower panel in both white and black card.  I used the black die cut as an offset shadow behind the wwhite one.  I used the Pearl Tints on acetate and streaked them diagonally across using shades of blue and yellow tints.  I allowed it to dry thoroughly then cut the backing for the Moonflower panel and glued it together.  I used the outer frames from the Moonflower and the Buttercup Floral Panels.  I cut one in white and the other in blue and layered them, then added the Moonflower panel on top.  I cut the Thought Of You Today sentiment in black and glued it to the lower corner of the card.  I used a black and white pencil to add some detail to the Moonflower panel.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Just For You

Hello crafters!  Here's a sweet card for you!  I started with the Decorative Heart Aperture die and cut it into a piece of white card, leaving a wide margin around it. I used the Slimline Essential Frames and added a thin frame cut out of raspberry card around the outside of the apertures.   I added a backing piece behind the aperture of a piece of white card.  Using the Mini Cosmos die set, I created three sizes and colours of flowers and hand drew some stems with a fine line black pen.  I added some green leaves from the set to all the flowers.  I added flowers to all three apertures for that pretty pop of colour and used a pre printed sentiment at the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5"  x  9 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Thought Of You Today

Hi crafters!  Here's another simple floral panel card for today's offering.  I cut the foliage panel from the Moonflower Floral Panel die set into a piece of white card on both sides of the card.  I backed it with white vellum for a softer look.  For the centre panel, I cut the same die again but I cut a white and a black version and did an offset shadow.  I covered a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet then cut the rectangle backing piece out of it.  I used the Golden Rose Aurora Flakes on the exposed adhesive, then used it as a backing piece for the centre panel.  I added a white frame around it then added it to the centre of the card with mounting foam.  I cut the Thought Of You Today sentiment in black and glued it to the lower corner of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Happy Birthday To You

Hello bloggers!  I decided to do a quick Birthday card in silhouette.  I started with a piece of Pixied card that I used Lava Red, Burnt Orange and Sun Yellow Pixie Powders on to create.  I used the Square Aperture die and cut it into the pixied card.  I lined up the inner scalloped dies on to a piece of black card and cut them.  I glued the two pieces together then added a white backing with mounting foam.  Using the Birthday Accessories and some of the pieces from the Birthday Shadowbox die set, I added them into each of the four apertures.  I used the bow off of the Happy Easter die set at the top of the card.  Using the Double Stitched Square die set, I added a black frame around the outside of the apertures.  I added a Happy Birthday To You sentiment across the centre of the card.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hope Your day Is Amazing

Good Sunday morning all!  I used a few leftover pieces to make today's card.  Originally I used the fall away pieces of the background to paper piece them back into another card, so I figured I would use the actual piece for another card and this is what I came up with!  It was cut from a pixie powdered card made with Lava Red and Burnt orange and Sun yellow Pixie powders.  I backed it in black for my background.  I cut the inner ring in white then cut the Beach Sunset Stained Glass in black.  I added a piece of black card with a sticky adhesive sheet attached to the backing of the circle then hand cut the excess around it.  I used Polished silk glitters across it (fire red, rose copper and sahara gold).  I added the stained glass to a larger piece of white card and cut the Hope Your Day Is Amazing sentiment in black and glued it below.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4"  in size.

You Are A Great Friend

Hi bloggers!  I cut a piece of white card for my background then used the Noble Vintage Label die set and cut a large one and a smaller one for the centre of the card.  I cut one more large one then nipped it in half and glued the cut pieces to the sides of the card.  I cut the foliage panel from the Button Flower Floral Panel die set in green.  I backed it in white and added a white frame around it.  I mounted it horizontally across the centre of the card.  Using the Mini Cosmos die set, I added some small peach coloured flowers to it.  I cut the You Are A Great Friend sentiment out of soft salmon card and added an offset black shadow behind it then glued it in the lower corner.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x  9 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Sending You Sunshine

Hello there my crafty friends!  I embossed a piece of white card with the Stripes embossing folder.  Next I selected a piece of Pixie Powdered card done in Purple Violet for the background to the Beach Sunset Stained Glass die.  I cut the outer die in black and backed it with thee pixied card.  I cut the middle ring in white and layered it up.  I cut the Beach Sunset die in both tan and green.  I used the tan die cut as the base and cut the heads off of the palm tree in the green die cut.  I sponged some Tumbled Glass on to the waves and added a small sun cut from a leftover piece of pixied card done in Burnt Orange Pixie Powders.  I cut the Sending You Sunshine out of an extra bit of the Purple Pixied card and glued it to the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
