Thanks

Good Sunday morning all!  I have an Alice card to share with you today!  It may be a bit complicated to explain as it uses several layers of the Alice die, but here goes!  I started with a coconut white background.  I cut the second layer from the Alice die in white, black and Iris card.  I used the black as a shadow behind the white die cut.  Next I cut the top row off and moved it to the bottom so the lines were going up and down starting in the upper corner.  Next I glued it below the Iris die cut but used it going the other direction so the lines went horizontally, forming a crisscross pattern in some of the squares.  I then cut the top layer of the Alice die in white and glued it on top.  I added the entire block to a larger piece of white card and added the Thanks sentiment cut in Iris with a black shadow.  I cut the Beautiful Butterfly in white and glued it in the upper corner.  The card was completed with white, iris and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh I am so pleased you have put this one on the blog today, I have made something similar but using the same process, once you understand the concept then you will find it is so easy, I would suggest going through your instructions step by step. There are so many patterns to make using the Alice die, it is a beautiful die and cuts out and embosses lovely.

Happy Sunday everyone

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Good Morning Sue and all
What a fantastic card this morning . The effect you have created with the layers from the Alice die gives amazing effect and depth. I think Alice is perfect for all occasions by being able to add flowers , butterflies and finish with sentiment or to use to create a window for Christmas cards.

Hi Sue. Back to earth with a bump and what a bump - roof tops instead of tree tops, roads with car doors banging instead of quiet narrow lanes and fields with sheep, partridges, and pheasants, but I need to think myself lucky that we can enjoy those special times, some are waking up ON the streets every day, so I'll concentrate my thoughts in that direction and stop sulking plus, you give us your time and inspiration every day so what could be better ay?
I don't own this collection but what you can achieve with just one package of dies is incredible and so clever every card or sample I see made with Alice blows my mind, there must be a good 10+ combinations to show the versatility of this clever die, I challenge someone to give it a try lol. I hope your day is a great one with laughter and good health xxx

Morning Sue, Alice in Wonderland springs to mind this morning as I wonder just how many permutations you can come up with, using this die.
It truly is spectacular and your explanation of how you put it together is easy to understand. I haven't got Alice, but I might, no will, just have to remedy that.
As always, your colour scheme is lovely. Take care. Hugs xx Pauline
