Pretty Poinsettia Frame

Hello there my crafty friends!  It is that time again, how quickly it has come around again, but the Christmas 2019 die release starts now!  We have nine days of new dies to share with you and as always, we will be doing a drawing to give away a set of each of them.  I will be announcing the die winners on Thursday June 20th so that will give you plenty of time to leave comments on all the posts!  Please remember to sign your comments in such a way that there is no confusion as to who the winner is. I suggest using a funny alias or add your home name to the post such as Gloria in Glasgow or Brenda in Bedford for example.
The first die that I would like to share with you is the Pretty Poinsettia Frame.  It has been designed so that you can paper piece or layer it or use it with pixie powders or a number of other ways if you would like a quick card.  Shown here with Crystal Tints, you can see what a stunning card it makes!  You can cut it into the card or use the outer cutting edge to cut it completely out.  One thing is for sure though, however, you use it, it will give you great results!  Leave a comment on this post if you would like a chance to win this one.  The next post will be online at 12 noon today.  All for now, Sue x

Oh my goodness Sue, I've slept and forgotten the festive season had started, what a pretty beautiful start with the gorgeous pop of red. You are naughty though Sue but i KNEW it would happen, ive said i only need the 'finishing touch' type designs and now you've started showing us samples I'm going to have be stronger than everything, either that or try and sell more cards ! Don't be nervous about the reception your dies will get the number of comments during your launch will soon proven their popularity. Enjoy your day watching us enjoying our's xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a way to start the new Christmas 2019 blog launch special, this Poinsettia frame is wonderful, I like the examples you mentioned and I am sure that there are many other ways of using this, I also like the background of the first layer, with the red showing through the slats, yes must keep my eye out for that one too.

Good Luck everyone, yes there is the chance of winning one of the products but I do hope that you join the blog on a regular basis, you will find that Sue is so inspirational and well worth a visit every day.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue
I love anytime you share your new collections with us but there is something extra special about your Christmas Collection launches. It is the only time I will even consider thinking about Christmas when we haven’t even reached November!
The Pretty Poinsettia Frame is beautiful. Perfect in every way. And the card is giving us your usual tease of other treats you have in store for us!
Having seen the previews of the new dies, this launch is going to be pretty special - but then your die releases could never be anything else.
I will be back at 12 (or thereabouts) x

I love everything about this card from the Poinsettia frame die to the greeting and the beautiful frilled look frame, and even the way you have made the stitching red (a touch which really lifts this pretty card. Congratulations on the start of yet another die release. They seem to be passing at a rate of knots this year and hard to believe we are almost half way through the year and getting ready for Christmas once again.

Hello Sue,

A beautiful card to start your launch. I love the glitter flakes that you have added in the background. Gives a lovely translucent look. This die will also fit in the frame from the last Festive release. I often wonder with such beautiful dies in the release, how do you decide which one you're going to use for the start of the launch?

Have a great morning, see you later in the day.
