I'm So Happy

Hello crafters!  I know how busy we all are this time of year so thank you for taking the time to pop by the blog if only for a quick visit.  I started today's card by cutting two Canadian borders in white and gluing them down the sides of another piece of coconut white card.  Next I cut the Ornate Pierced Design Noble in white and backed it with Vintage silver card and cut it into a frame.  I used the Lattice Mask on acetate and puled polar white sparkle texture paste through it and allowed it to dry well.  I attached my frame to it and raised it over another piece of silver card.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the Pierced Flags die, using a larger one in silver to mat it.  I made two flowers using the Perfect Peony die and edged them in a light silver ink before assembling.  I sugared them with Iced snow after assembling then seated them on white tulle at the end of the sentiment.  I accented the flowers with Dandelion clocks and matching silver stick pins.  The card was then completed with a white pierced mat, a thin silver mat and a final white mat layer.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue

Must get some tule. Never been able to get any white when I needed it but will try again. It does finish a card. I love white on white and the borders down the sides. It will be nice to get back to celebration cards and not christmas - although all my Christmas cards have been very well recieved.
I have had some really nice feedback this year.
Must be those really nice dies.
Thanks Sue!

Wow! Absolutely stunning card! I love the Silver and Gold card from Creative Expressions it's just the right colour and not too bright and shiny. When I first saw the card I didn't realise that you'd put the texture paste onto acetate, that's another technique I haven't tried it looks amazing! The dandelion dies are gorgeous and finish off any flower display perfectly. Of course any card that includes your Noble dies is perfect in my eyes lol!

To my lovely friend Sue and all the fabulous Wilsonettes that have taken so much time and kindness this year to put out on me i wish you all the very, very best of times this year. I don't know where i would have been without a lot of you kind ladies that are more than just someone from a blog, you have become true friends with your emails as to how i am doing. You have shown more kindness to a stranger than my family has done who have never even lifted the phone to see how i am so for all that kindness i thank you from the bottom of my heart dear friends.
Sue, this is stunning once more and although i don't have all the dies i have the noble and the flower ones so i will just use a different mask and borders and make it my own interruptation of this stunning example. I love when you treat us to an all white extravaganza as i do think your skill and workmanship shines at it's best in them. Thank you for all you have done for me this year Sue as you probably don't realise just what your do every day for me and people just like me. You prove to be a better friend than most of us have in the real world and that kindness lifts my spirits when at their lowest, so have a wonderful Christmas flower and i hope that Santa is especially good to you
